BONNE MAMAN Intense Apricot Fruit Spread, 8.2 OZ

Got this today and just had to try it. I spread some on rye toast with butter. It was absolutely delectable, fresh-tasting, mouthwatering and with huge pieces of fruit. Not overly sweet, with a texture more like applesauce than jam or jelly. I wish the jar was bigger! Interestingly, the jar had a kind of sealing tape halfway over the cap, apparently to keep the cap from rotating and unsealing. I definitely heard the pop. It seems the company read the reviews and did something about the problem. Also, the jar was securely wrapped in bubble wrap and braced in the box so it wouldn’t roll around. Will very likely order this again and/or try other flavors.

Was hesitant to write this because I enjoy being able to easily purchase this online, but this is the BEST Apricot spread I've tasted!- There is some sugar in it but not much, and I don't really taste it.- The fact that they use Lemon Juice as the preservative instead of Citric Acid is everything! Finding canned goods without Citric Acid is HARD. (FYI - some Citric Acid sources are made from MOLD!)- The only thing I wish Bonne Maman would change about this is the jar size. Wish they offered it in the sizes of their other preserves/spread.

This is the closest you will get to homemade jam. The poduct name is spot on - the flavor is intense. Between the generous real chunks of fruit and excellent flavor, this is one of the very few jams that I have found to be worth buying.

Beautiful texture and flavor. The apricots are the star of this preserve. Would buy again and try new flavors

Less sugar in this delicious fruit spread lets the pure flavor of the apricots shine through. This is a sublime spread on toast or anything else!

Goes with everything. Also put it on toast with a sprinkle of red pepper flakes.

This is great. It has less sugar than preserves with a big fruit flavor.

I cannot trust eating this product.It has been previously opened. There is no vacuum seal when opened. And the jar product label was put on by hand. Half of it is folded in on itself and is not adhered to the jar at all.It looks suspicious. I wonder if the contents of the jar are even authentic to the manufacturer.I will never buy a third party product on Amazon again. Amazon does not stand by them. Buyer Beware!!!I only give it one star because the software won't submit this review without at least one star.I would give it minus 5 stars.
