Steel VESA TV and Monitor Mount Adapter Plate Bracket for Screens 23" to 42" | Conversion Kit for VESA up to 200x200mm (MOUNT-AD2X2)

I bought this to adapt a new 32" Samsung flat screen TV (200mm x 200mm) to an older VESA 100mm x 100mm mount. The screws that were supplied to attach the adapter to the original mount (VESA 100mm x 100mm) worked perfectly. I had to use longer screws than were supplied to attach the TV to the adapter plate. I knew this because the description said that shorter screws were supplied and I happen to have a selection to choose from past television mount hardware spare parts I have collected. The fit was perfect. Everything lined up and went together without a hitch. It had all the appropriate holes for the adaptation I needed. It is well made, but not over-built or too heavy. The time it took me (alone) from entering my RV with the new TV, removing the old one, and having the new one adapted and hung up was about 1 hour and 15 minutes. And that included fetching tools and keeping my ice tea glass filled.

I bought this not because I actually needed a VESA mounting adapter but because I needed a weight plate for the light portable monitor I have on one of my monitor arms to keep it from wanting to float up out of position. This fits the bill perfectly! Solid build quality, looks great too, and at just over 23oz (I measured it at 656.2g without any mounting hardware), I think it strikes a good balance between sturdiness and not adding too much weight to your mounting point. Although in my case, weight was exactly what I was after, and this adapter does nicely for that as well. I saw some dedicated VESA weights available here but wasn't keen on spending $30 or more for a single-purpose, limited-use gizmo when I could get something like this instead for far less money plus have a much higher likelihood of finding it useful for other things down the road, once I upgrade to a larger/heavier monitor and no longer need this as a simple weight. This also comes with a nice assortment of quality-looking mounting hardware plus standoffs, although I didn't need to use any of it for my needs. But still good to throw into my stash of assorted bits and pieces for some potential future need! One of the reasons for my review is because I feel like it's important to document the weight of this adapter somewhere for purchasing decisions, and it's not currently shown anywhere in the product photos, listing or specs, nor did I see it listed anywhere on their website. VIVO should address this omission, as it's always important to consider weight when looking at anything you're thinking of adding onto a monitor arm -- even if you're not looking to use it as a weight.

Works as expected, and at a great price i was happy to choose ViVo once again. Had to use this to adapt my smaller Vesa mount to a 40” Tv for my hydraulic arm for a sim rig. Worked flawlessly and definitely can’t regret it for its price. You definitely don’t need to use all the bolts like i did but i used them anyway since i figured i was mounting a big tv

For perfect. We were putting in an RV and was very surprised it worked. Extremely well made.

This plate works to secure a VESA mount to an LG UHD 43" monitor. My giant heavy monitor has a 200 mm x 200 mm square backside (which means 20cm x 20 cm between the 4 corner posts. Measure and be sure you have 20 cm x 20 cm in the back of your tv/monitor) **IF THIS ADAPTER DOESN'T MAKE FULL CONTACT WITH THE BACK OF YOUR TV/MONITOR BECAUSE THE BOLTS WHICH SECURE THE VESA MOUNT TO THE ADAPTER ARE TOO LONG, I SUGGEST: that you follow the instructions EXCEPT for the direction that you screw in the bolts. I encountered this problem^ and had to re-do the bolts BACKWARDS between the VESA mount and the adapter. Thankfully these bolts are flat head, and it worked! The threaded end of the bolts were no longer in the way, preventing the adapter from screwing on securely at the four corners. Here's a picture

Mounting plate is nice and works well. Like others here, some of the fasteners were missing. All in a sealed plastic bag except the bag was intentionally torn open with things missing. Off course the missing ones were the ones I needed, So off to the hardware store to get the correct fasteners. Lack of quality control should not be rewarded...

This adapter plate was exactly what we needed to mount our 42-inch TV onto our RV slide mount. The original mount didn’t fit the back of the TV, but this worked perfectly as a “conversion plate.” It’s sturdy, well-made, and very durable. It fit our needs perfectly and made the installation simple. Highly recommend!

Es una excelente opción cuando el soporte no es compatible con el monitor, por mi parte tengo un monitor de 32" y adquirí un soporte para escritorio el cual no era compatible con el monitor, pero este adaptador funcionó a la perfección, fácil de instalar, no hicieron falta ningún adaptación y/o componentes especiales como tornillos para el montaje, todo queda perfecto en su lugar. Los materiales parecen muy resistentes y la fijación es muy robusta en el monitor de instalación. Muy satisfecho con el producto.
