Brother ML-100 Daisy Wheel Electronic Typewriter - Retail Packaging

This Brother brand BRTML 100 Standard Electronic Typewriter is very modern and has everything a typewriter needs and more. It does have a cover for protecting the keyboard which I'm glad it has and also an extra daisy wheel typewriter head when the new gets old and there is 3 manuals-1 for English, 1 for Spanish, and another language I can't read. When i received the typewriter it wasn't packed right. All pieces that were to hold the typewriter together to not move were put in a plastic bag. Then there were no disks, no ribbon, no correction ribbon, etc. I went to buy the ribbons for it and when i put them in the typewriter made noises and would not work. It was nice of you to give me a refund but you said I could keep the typewriter. What am I going to do with a typewriter that doesn't work. That should have been your problem. To replace it they said they had no more. So here I am with a typewriter that doesn't work. No, I will never order another thing from Amazon or whatever company that sent it to me. I have the typewriter all packed up and so I don't remember who sent it too me. Thank you but no thank you, you did no justice to your name. Mary Brooks

Was looking for an electric typewriter reasonably priced. Used Brother years ago so decided to purchase. Arrived when promised, well packaged for shipping. Works great.

I got to missing just a plain old electric typewriter that the NSA cannot effectively spy on, so I bought this to keep them guessing about what I am writing and what I am up to. I just don't like or feel comfortable with them knowing everything about me. I do like some secrets in my closet, so I no longer go to Confession and I try to write my thoughts as far away from spying, hearing and seeing and illegal eavesdropping as possible. Having been a once upon a time member of the Army Security Agency (the Army command that essentially founded the NSA) I am surprised at nothing about what I hear of the NSA's activities and capabilities, so move over Edward Snowden, though you deserve America's kudos and many thank yous, you really didn't tell me anything that I haven't already known for over 45 years. Jeeze, Scotty, the pile of BS is really getting big down here in this old evil world and good gawd is it ever starting to stink to high heaven. Beam me up now, I just cannot take it much longer! I think i am going to pass out and surely die quicker than in any gas chamber or by lethal injection! The criminals and other deserving assorted killers seem to have it better than the rest of us that are dieing from cruel andu nusual punishment, which we do not deserve!

No instructions came with the typewriter. Roller was unattached from the knob. Luckily, found instructions from a previous Brother ml100 we had. Fixed the roller issue. Had issues with the erasable ribbon from day one jamming. Followed instructions on installation. One spool came off, would not reattach. A few keys with multiple functions would not work. No matter how much trial and error attempted. A “new” typewriter should be up and ready to go right out of the box. Not so here. Word to the wise-buy a typewriter at a regular office supply store. This was a waste of money.

This took way to long to arrive ( 2 weeks) It was poorly packed and it needed repair to make it work. Coming from a typewriter repair shop. I would expect it to be working perfectly . Then the guy called me to tell me he is gonna call me back. WTF. he wouldn't even wait 1 f'n single minute for me to tell him I had fixed it and its workin now Frickin rude. anyways. it does work so. whatever. work on your customer service

Seller went above and beyond to help me when the first typewriter failed to perform as it should. He offered another typewriter that was in excellent working condition. I would recommend this seller to any who were looking to buy a typewriter that has been reconditioned by him. Great job Scott!!

Junk. Never worked correctly. Typed the wrong letters. Tried calling Brother support and got a voice mail saying the office was closed even though it was during their normal business hours. Fortunately the seller was great and we were able to return it. Still haven't chosen another typewriter but it won't be a Brother.
