If this runs through Aux can i use it with a home stereo aux port without the home kit?

The home kit has the connection points for the aux-out, AC, and antenna. You can use it with your home stereo or headphones.

Can you plug/unplug this from the AUX easily without setting it all up again? I also listen to music from my iPhone which I plug into my AUX jack.

I use mine in three vehicles and also in my home. All three vehicles have their individual docking station antennas and aux connections. Truly plug and play. I have Bluetooth compatable head units on my vehicles so I can listen to music stored on my cell phone.

This model work in the XM or Sirius Network?

An old Sirius subscription like Sirius Select that includes channels 100 and 101 will not transfer to this or any SiriusXM radio. If you don't want to screw up that old Sirius subscription you have to get a Sirius, not a SiriusXM radio. Your choices include Stratus, Sportster, Starmate and Xact. If you get a SiriusXM Onyx Plus for your old Sirius subscription and transfer you'll lose channels 100 and 101. Go to https://shop.siriusxm.com/support/sirius-radios/ and click on Sirius radios (as opposed to SiriusXM and XM radios) to see all the Sirius type models ever made and that will work with an old Sirius subscription. (Pictures of the older models are not there and are labeled SiriusXM on that webpage even though they are Sirius radios; go elsewhere to see a picture and verify it's a Sirius radio.)

Is there a remote that works with this radio?

This unit did not come with a remote. So I don't know anything about compatibility with remotes. You may want to call Sirius-XM to find out.
