SOUTH BEND Trout Net - Fishing Net with Sturdy Aluminum Handle

I have been fishing for trout recently, and have lost several trout because I had no net to land them. Usually when I fish for trout, I go into the water so it makes it harder to land the trout when I set the hook.But I just went trout fishing today with this net and did not lose a single one. This net is very simple and I was able to attach the net to my drawstring backpack with a carabiner.I also checked walmart and their cheapest net was $20. This net gets the job done and is cheap. Highly recommended!!!

There isn't much to it. Nearly weightless, quite compact. Not going to bring in your 40 lb catfish with this, but it's great for when I kayak fish. It fits in any rodholder, custom or not. Good for mobile fishing excursions. Seems well-made enough for the cost.

This is a good basic and inexpensive net for fishing. Let me clear about one thing... This is a cheap net and it looks and feels like a cheap net. Aluminum frame, plastic handle, nylon netting bag. It is fine for its intended purpose - scooping some type of aquatic critter out of the water ontto a boat, canoe, dock or shoreline. It does that job without fanfare. Remember that it is "Southbend" and not "Orris" or "LL Bean". This will never be a fashion accessory or a family heirloom. It will however let you scoop your fish into the boat, scoop the turtle out of the pond, and so forth. It does so without frills and at a great price.

Great net. I use it out my 12 ft boat for trout, walleye, perch, and crappie. Tried my hardest to fit a 4 lb northern in there too, but that just wasn't happening, but I definitely didn't expect it to! Great net, sweet buy, love it.

For the money, this is a good product. The netting itself appears to be plastic so would probably sun-rot at some point, but the rim and handle are sturdy. I'm pleased with this purchase and give it 5 stars because of the quality for the price.

Very small. Could have gotten the size net I wanted for a few dollars more. It also seems to break easy I've had to tie it a few times

Not a bad net for the price, its the cheapest net I've found. The major flaw with this net is that it is small and therefore meant for small fish, but the netting is large so that skinny fish (ie trout) of moderate or small size can work their way through the net. This has allowed fish to swim through the net with my hook still in it which led to a real mess trying to get the hook out of both the fish and the net. It should be fine for blue gill or other small fish that are wide.

EXCELLENT NET. JUST THE RIGHT SIZE FOR ANY PANFISH. EVEN SOME BIGGER FISH. VERY WELL MADE. GREAT FOR DINGY FISHING. BOUGHT IT HERE ON AMAZON SUPER CHEAP. ALSO THERE IS NO HOLE IN THE NET. AS IT APPEARS IN THE STOCK PHOTO. BUY WITH CONFIDENCE.

I Bought two trout nets for my young grandsons who are starting to love trout fishing. These are reasonably priced, lightweight, perfect size for small trout and for small hands handling!. I wondered if the net was too light but other reviews confirm that it is of good quality.

Great little net for the price. Strong and holds up well. Netting is good quality. Fits nicely in the holder of my shoulder tackle bag.
