Backup Camera Kit fits 2014-15 Scion - Plug and Play for Display Audio Radios!

Works great. Looks factory installed. Camera is high quality. Took me about 1.5 hours to install in my 2015 Scion FR-S. If i have any complaint ( not really complaining) it would be that they advertise turning parking guidelines off with a flip of a switch. Thats not true. You have to cut a looped white wire on the camera wire and once its cut thats it unless you reconnect wire. Instructions were very good and easy to follow. I really like this product from Camera Source. Dont be afraid to buy.

The bad: instructions not clear for FRS (general Scion instructions), so you’ll need to watch some YouTube videos. Pink wire fifth one down farthest to the left(slightly larger pins) on pin connection by hood release. Camera activation wire did not go any further than half way in pin on radio, so I had to cut and fold wire into harness pin hole 2. Angle of the camera sees WAY too much car butt.The good:The install was not terribly difficult, with exception of previous. Watched a few videos on YouTube to make the install look professional and hidden. It works nicely and camera quality is good. The kit has a nice pre-made wiring harnesses for the radio which is worth the price of this kit.

Scion TC 2015 Touchscreen display w/o Bespoke:I was concerned with installing camera with my stock radio. After reviewing some videos on Youtube, I felt more confident doing the work myself but more importantly that it would work. It took approximately 2 1/2 hrs to install everything myself. I did have some trouble in locating a place for my camera, but eventually found a great place for it. Once I found the place to drive the hole, everything else was a breeze :D!!!!I have included pictures of the where I placed the camera and the video quality for Day/Night. *Please remember, I live in a placed where everything is pitch black with no street lights! In the city, parking lots and shopping centers the video at night would be much better.Pro:1. Plug and play!!! My Scion TC 2015 w/o Bespoke already came with the reverse trigger plugged into the radio. I only needed to plug in the cable to the back of the radio and run the cables and camera to the truck.2. Everything I needed to install my Backup Camera Kit was included in the package!3. Great video quality during the day!!!4. Great video quality during the night!!! Except if you live in an area where there are no street lights around.Con:1. Because I live in an area that is pitch black, the only light source for my camera comes from the reverse lights and brakes. The camera does not have a night mode like my Toyota Tundra 2014.[...]-Camera install. I watched the video to get an idea of where and how to install camera.[...]-Wiring setup. I watched this video to get an idea of where to look for the reverse trigger, but my car already had the reverse trigger connected to the back of the radio xD.

Had to drill a hole in the trunk to have it fit and run the wiring through the car. It works well but my OCD wishes it was Centered, but with the button to open the trunk in the center you have to put the camera to the left or right. This makes it so when your backing up only looking at the camera on the screen you park a little skidways even when the camera says your straight! ahh. but it works well and it'll stop me from backing up over someone!

Easy to understand instructions, took me three hours to do the wiring. Easy plug and play. Works good! This is my 2014 Scion TC. Had to cut out some of the plastic mounting bracket on my rear hatch but minor work around. Good stuff overall!

Installed this in my 2013 Scion FR-S. It took about 5hrs to install from start to finish. My stereo's 28-pin power harness was not pre-wired with the reverse line. I used the kit included trigger wire to install the reverse line into the 28-pin harness. Luckily, I found a handful of YouTube videos and forum posts that helped me locate a good reverse line to tap into. The kit really does come with every connector that you need. I used an 18" long zip tie to help thread the camera wire through my trunk lid and other hard-to-access areas, which took a couple hours by itself. All said and done, the kit provides professional grade connectors and harnesses--not to mention that camera has the best resolution for the price point. As you can see in the picture, the camera is offset from the center of my trunk because that was the only spot available to drill a camera hole, but it really didn't make a big difference because the camera has such a wide field of view. I took a couple pictures of my screen before and after sunset to give you an idea of its light and dark sensitivity, which ends up being pretty nice.
