Great Neutral Coconut Oil for Cooking and More
This coconut oil is perfect for cooking. It has a clean, neutral flavor, so it works with anything I make. The quality feels very good, and I like that itโs organic and steam-refined. The big 54 oz size lasts a while, and itโs also great as a natural moisturizer for skin and hair. Very useful to have in the house and a solid value for the price.

the best price around for organic coconut oil and was needed ...
Since I cook with coconut oil exclusively, I have been buying it in larger containers for a long time. However, this past holiday season brought on my experimenting with baking cookies with coconut oil instead of butter. This gallon container was, by far, the best price around for organic coconut oil and was needed considering the massive amounts of baking I do for the holidays. I thought, at first, I would miss the coconut flavor that I have grown accustom to, but it was an easy switch to the refined and unscented/unflavored oil. One note, if you want to bake with coconut oil. Add a couple tbsp of water for every cup of oil in your recipe. The first few batches of dough seemed more dry than usual and, unfortunately, my cookies turned out more crumbly (peanut butter blossoms/sugar cookie dough was harder to roll before adding water) and drier/crunchier when baked (choco chip, sugar, etc). After baking and not being happy with the results, I made subsequent batches with enough water to make the dough sticky and ball up as usual (as if cooking with butter). It made the difference and I, once again, had awesome soft and chewy cookies that turned out great. Another note if baking with it, leave the bucket close to your oven while it is on so the oil softens up. It is WAY easier to mush it into and scrape it out of the measuring cup when soft.

Great product, but what a pain in the a$$ to open and pour
The product is great! But it could use a little bit of packaging repackaging, if you know what I mean. The container is just too huge and bulky. It would be nice if it was maybe a little slender or slimmer, and in more of a cylindrical shape. That way it would fit into some kitchen cabinet spaces easier. Also, I get it, you have to buy them both to get a better discount. But this is just way too much oil for let's say a little old lady to pick up and pour into her deep fryer. The funny thing is that at warmer temperatures it tends to be more viscous and liquidy. But in colder temperatures, it's solidifies into white gelatin pretty much. The reason why I mention that is because I was tempted to pour this into a smaller container with the funnel, and use as needed. But then it's solidified and colder temperatures. So what to do? This is definitely one of the best refined coconut oils out there, because they used the steam process instead of using harsh chemicals like hexane to pull out a more refined product in the end. Note to the manufacturer, maybe there's some way you can do two smaller containers, and still give that bulk deal of the best bang for the buck in terms of price for the product? Oh, and one more thing, I'm still trying to figure out how the lid was supposed to be opened. There's a pull tab, but it doesn't go all the way around the tub in terms of making it easier to open. It's just too confusing, are you supposed to cut the notched plastic part or not? Is it supposed to pull apart on its own? I gave this five stars, but in reality it should have been more like five stars for the actual product inside, but two stars for the packaging. Lol. Manufacturer, help us out here! Make the containers smaller, just offer two containers at the same price for the same amount of product? Is that possible?

very good but ....
I recently purchased this refined coconut oil and have been quite pleased with it. The packaging is perfect, and the cost is very reasonable. The neutral flavor is exactly what I was looking for, as it is not deodorized and does not impart a coconut taste to my dishes. However, I was slightly disappointed with its high smoke point, as it didn't perform as well as I expected under high heat. Despite this, I find the oil to be of very good quality overall and would recommend it.

Completely odorless oil, great for massage therapists!
Iโm a massage therapist, and I use this as massage oil for my clients because it is completely scent-free and it doesnโt stain my linens. Other oils donโt completely wash out of sheets or clothing, but coconut oil does. Some people donโt like the smell of regular coconut oil, but this ultra-refined oil has absolutely no odor! Itโs also a great price compared to other organic coconut oils. Like any coconut oil, it solidifies under about 60 degrees, but I live in the tropics, so it is liquefied in my photo. I also use this on my dogโs paws when they get irritated from an allergic reaction he sometimes has to grass and certain foods. It seems to help soothe his paws.

Grateful.
Good quality I appreciate the fact we even have stores let alone Amazon Prime I'd highly recommend. There are people that have no idea what it's like in the beginning no stores banks pharmacies hospitals gas station cars today they have this and take advantage of everything some of us us primes were here before stores pharmacies hospitals gas station cars were appreciate it let's hope they do Puerto Rico comes to mind. You could lose everything in the blink of an eye if you don't respect it. Amazon PRIME is a Prime system it'll be fine but they could cut people off if they wanted to. Just need the right eye and the right ear to make everything shift. Don't let anyone take advantage of you. Many anointings and consecrations to those at Amazon Prime may grandfather Thanatos keep you safe on the roads. We're from before AI before Gaia. Ring of the Magi protects your system.

Very healthy oil for cooking
I am very happy with it. I have used this type of oil for many years. It is a very healthy oil. I eat it more than I would wear it. I fry and bake with it. It does not break down fast like other oils would if you deep fry with it.

Not so secret ingredient for so many good things.
My not-so-secret ingredient for perfect popcorn and so many other amazing treats, don't think, buy, then go look up recipes that use it, you won't be sorry. No weird aftertaste like unrefined oils so whatever you want it to be, it can be, just add flavor. Starting on my 3rd bottle of the jumbo sized bottle this weekend, so it's on my must-have reorder list.
