Great book I recommend this book to anyone who likes to draw or makes things with words on it.

I loved the lettering. It has inspired many ideas.

I bought for a friend who tattoos and he absolutely loved it!!

Lettering artist must have book

The media could not be loaded. Overall, a really nice collection of vintage type. It's a Dover book, so it's not printed on the "finest quality paper" (uncoated, "normal weight" paper), but really good value. The one negative aspect of this book is that the selection of type is VERY decorative, and many fonts are hard to read, so you can't just blindly copy the type to create a lettering piece. And arguably, some typefaces have limited uses given they're so ornate. But very interesting to look at regardless (if you find type interesting).

Super livre, avec beaucoup d'exemples d'écriture typographique. Je recommande. En plus, le livre est arrivé plus rapidement que prévu et en parfait état ( dans une enveloppe cartonnée rigide). On prend toujours une chance quand on achète des livres sur Amazone. Ils arrivent souvent mal enveloppés et en mauvais état. C'est agaçant. Mais le vendeur a fait un bon job! Merci!

Je ne sais pas ce que je vais faire avec cet ouvrage. Les polices ne m'inspirent pas... Je suis un peu déçue, il y a tant de polices et de lettrages présents aujourd'hui dans le monde que celles qui sont présentées ici semblent datées.
