Tank Battles of the Mid East Wars Paperback – September 1, 1996

Very educational and a great reference for IDF Armor. A good companion book toTank Battles of Mid East Wars 7008. Only complaint is insufficient coverage of early M-1 and M-50 Shermans which were the backbone of the IDF for many years.

Good book. Lots of pictures with detail for the modeler.

Lots of excellent black and white pictures, but little actual information on the vehicles in question. The color plates are attractive, with detailed information on the subject's markings.

The majority of the book contains photographs of the vehicles used. I was really looking for a fuller explanation of the overall strategy, wished to see the combatants positions as the battles unfolded, and hoped there would be more maps (there were none).

Useful book for those interested in this subject. Some nice black and white pictures. A bit expensve, but I would buy it again.
