We adopted a pitbull from the shelter recently and walks with him were chaotic. I tried several harnesses and leashes. This doesn't hurt him and he's excited to put it on. After a few weeks of training with this harness he's an entirely different dog to walk. Our dog only wears this for walks so he knows when we grab it he gets to go on an adventure!

Harness is well made and I like the way that it adjusts for sizing; however, I feel it is a little too thick and too much material for my small puppy (Pomeranian). I believe it will work well for a sturdier, broad-chested puppy. This style will work well for a larger dog (60+ pounds) because I have a harness very similar for my German Shepard/Lab.

The media could not be loaded.  So I can't say much about the durability because I only had it for a day but it looks very well made. The stitching is very thick and looks like it's going to hold for generations. My puppy is only 12 weeks old and I got him the medium with hoped he's going to grow into it. He looks small in it right now but just barely and that's as small as it adjusts. The directions on sizing say not to compare it to other harnesses but I did lol the one I got before this fit but only when it was fully adjusted out so it wasn't going to last long. The neck was 13" and the cutest was 17" on the larger size of the last harness and because those measurements were the smallest of the medium I went with it and I'm glad I did. The straps around the belly can tuck nicely into the harness and the belly straps are also made of an elastic strap on the inside of the padding which I think is a nice touch. I wanted this one because it had the D ring in front and on top. My pup didn't like the leash on the front of the harness but he's also too small for the harness so it did look like it bothered him so I'll wait till he fills out more. But other than that I liked it. Like I said the seams look very strong and it's very well put together.

These are the best harnesses your going to find in quality and price. We had an issue with some stitching that came loose, I contacted phoepet, and within 5 days the harness was replaced free of charge. Customer service is fast and friendly. These harnesses work on my smallest dog at 4lbs all the way up to my largest at 200lbs. You can't go wrong with this brand.

It’s lasted us a while, I would say about 3-4 months because I’m not really keeping track. It’s very reflective and I feel safe walking him because it’s easy to spot him. Reliable and durable.

UPDATE. Get this harness! It’s the best one I’ve had so far. It fits her nicely and is made well. I get compliments on it every time we are out. Plus this company is amazing. They reached out and I got a new harness with a clip so I don’t have to pull it over her head. I am happy and puppy is happy too! Thank you so much!!I like this harness. Very sturdy and is holding up well. The only thing I don’t like is that you have to pull it over their head. If there was a another clip so it would go around the neck instead of over the head it would be perfect.

I had a foster to adopt dog that came with some borrowed ruffwear gear from the humane society. When I decided to adopt I started to look for gear to buy. He had a basic ruffwear harness that cost $50. I was shocked at the price so I decided to look elsewhere for a comparable item that was more affordable. I came across this listing & I am glad I decided to try it out. When the item came in I thought this harness has a handle that the ruffwear didn't have & it has become very useful since I'm still training my newly adopted dog. About a week or two after receiving my item my dog had unfortunately chewed on one of the clips so I was looking to replace it. I contacted customer service to see if they had a listing they could direct me to. They were so nice & helpful & told me they would refund me and I could order another one. I would gladly keep ordering from this company as long as the price stays affordable and customer service stays great!

This harness looks like it would have been a great harness if I could get it on my dog. The design is very poor. There should be a buckle on the neck piece to make it easy to put on your dog. This harness would fit my dog, but I can’t get the tiny neck opening over her head. Simply adding a buckle would have made a world of difference and made this a really great harness! Returning to buy something with a buckle on the neck piece as well.

My chihuahua kept getting out of his harness which was getting annoying and dangerous depending on the circumstances. I bought a similar style harness for my golden retriever and wanted the same style harness for my chihuahua. A military style harness with a handle so I can grab him and pick him up when I need to. I was worried about sizing but did the measurements and ordered a small since he was on the borderline for x-small. With adjustments it fits well. My only complaint is that it has to go over the head. it would be better if one side had a clip so it would be easier to put on and off. Under the stomach had the clips to release but not the front. Other than that I am happy with the product. Price and quality are excellent.

My rambunctious escape artist shihtzu (size extra small) uses this harness. He is comfortable and well supported in his harness.The straps on the side need to be just a bit tighter to fit him perfectly. However, the extra strap space gives him lots of leg room for running at the park.

We like this harness for it's ease to put on and take off. Our puppy likes to pull and the design allows herto do so without discomfort. We wanted another one for our other dog, but we couldn't buy one small enough for her.
