Polk Audio Atrium 5 Outdoor Speakers Wired with Powerful Bass (Pair, White), All-Weather Durability, Broad Sound Coverage, Speed-Lock Mounting System

These are mounted under our porch roof and the sound is terrific!! We love these.

Loving them!!!! I've had these on my list for over a year while planning and performing my basement remodel. While doing that I ran speaker wire out to my back patio from my planned home theater in the basement. I'm glad I stuck with them instead of going with another brand. (Though I have nothing to compare them to). Very nice sound stage imaging that I did not expect from outdoor speakers. Bass is quite good for the size. You obviously will not get as much as my Infinity Primus 363 Towers (or a 12" subwoofer), but it's much better than expected. Amazing creative, functional and sturdy built in mounting brackets! I used #10 screws to mount the brackets (keyhole) to the overhang underneath my roof. I put one screw through the stud and the other only through my wood siding. The speakers are pretty light weight (4 pounds) and easy to handle and I feel that they are 100% sturdy and will not fall. The speaker is super easy to remove from the bracket and just as easy to attach. Great for bringing your speakers inside during the winter! Problem: The banana plugs (Monoprice) that I have are too long for the cavity where the binding posts are. I pushed them in and are working for now, but I would feel better if I got shorter ones that fit all the way in there. I'm using my 2nd zone on my Onkyo Receiver. The remote app is awesome. You can select your source, pause and skip songs and control the volume straight from the app. You can power on the 2nd zone without turning your whole receiver on and can do it all from the app. It is so cool! You just have to have your receiver connected to your network, wired or WiFi and have your phone on WiFi. Rocking out!

Excellent! I have a pair of Atrium 4’s that have performed admirably for over ten years! Those were purchased and deployed pool-side at our former home. Like them so much that I took them with me to our new place. Upon moving our pool/patio area size increased substantially. The 4’s were still part of my overall plan but I wanted to increase coverage and my speaker count to four and thought a next size speaker up with a bit more bass might be in order. Over time, I ordered/tried two other, popular and well rated outdoor speakers to fit the desired need and for various reasons returned both. Quite frankly, neither sounded any better than my old 4’s. Both cost more. I then ordered some Prime Days, “used-like new” 5’s for a fantastic price ($148) and am delighted that I did😁 Third time/try was indeed the charm! Not only do they fill the space with quality/balanced tone, I now know that my outdoor sound 🎶 needs are more than satisfied for many dependable years to come! There’s a reason that this Atrium series from Polk has been the outdoor standard setter for over a decade, I should have never wandered/doubted. Lesson learned.

Speaker sounds good, but one arrived defective, as the driver was distorting, and the customer care instead of sending me a new speaker, they are sending me a new driver, so they want me to disassemble and repair it. Something like that never happened to me before, very disappointed with Polka customer service. After complaining, they made it right and send me new speakers.

I installed these on my pool lanai to replace some old speakers I had. I am blown away by them. From my pool I have perfect stereo imaging. What that means, is that not only does it sound great, but it does not have to be loud to hear all the details of the music. My neighbors definitely apricate that. I'm a HiFi geek and these absolutely satisfy my audiophile needs. I had thought about going with the larger version but these are perfect for my needs. These are powered by the Zone Two of my Onkyo RZ50 (I highly recommend as well) which is 120w per channel. That power definitely helps, but I'm sure these will sound great off of any decent amp. If you are looking for a good quality outdoor speaker I guarantee you will be more then happy with these.

Looking long and hard for some replacement outdoor speakers. Looked at the usual suspects BOSE, KlIPSCH, CAMBRIDGE SOUNDWORKS, etc.. Decided after reviews of the Polk Audio outdoor speakers that I was originally going to purchase the POLK AUDIO Atrium 4s. to fill the need. Ultimately purchased the next step up model the Atrium 5s.. Man oh man I do not know what the 4s sound like but if you can spring for the 5s DO IT.. The clarity and the sound at low levels, normal levels and even at blasting these is uncanny. I have them installed under my outside eaves in my backyard and the music is so nice. Great full balanced sound not tinny sounding at all. Doesn't matter what kind of music I throw at it,( I mostly listen to classic rock from 60's -70's) the speakers handle it with ease.. Easy to install and it comes with special brackets so you can point them to wherever you need sound for your backyard. So glad I sprung for these great sounding speakers

Sound great. Covers a 20x20 patio easily. Used with Fosi Bluetooth to connect, love it. Direct Bluetooth speakers were a PIA , these sound great and annoying my neighbors. LOL

I’ve had a pair of Atriums outside for the last five years and they sound great. I bought these slightly larger ones for another location in the backyard. They do not disappoint. They’re recently installed, and sound great. I’m driving them with a small class D amplifier so are not pushing them to their limit, but I’m impressed and there’s plenty of clean sound. Good bass and clean highs. Nice directionality, they project a smooth stereo image. The first ones I bought five years ago are black and still like new. It’ll be interesting how the new white pair fare in our southern Arizona testing weather.

He adquirido 12 pzs y 2 se me han volado, las demás bien. 4 están a la intemperie y funcionan super bien! Gran potencia y calidad en materiales y en audio son buenas.

Despite the panicking both speakers grilles canne surf a slight dent as shown in three pictures.

I just purchased these units on Amazon Prime day as a replacement for the much cheaper Herdio speakers. These are a definite step up in sound and bass over the Herdios with 4 inch drivers. I haven’t permanently installed them yet so I don’t know how well they will weather our winters.

Excelentes en calidad de audio y de construcción. Se le ve muy muy robustos tanto el propio altavoz como los anclajes a la pared y los conectores. Además me han costado prácticamente la mitad que en otro gran almacén. Muy recomendables.
