Say It With Style

I like this book. It has hundreds of quotes for lettering. i know there are free quotes on the web but many times I don't have the time to look thru hundreds of quotes to find what I want.I have used the holidays and Christmas chapters to calligraph my own cards this year. I do write my own quotes but this book has made it easy to find short quotes with the sentiment I want.

These books are amazing!!! The ideas just jump from the pages of card designs that would match the Sayings!! If you enjoy making cards you absolutely need these books!!! I can't believe I waited this long to get my hands on them. If you order this one you should order number 2 also. I also loved the fact that the pages are not just typed in boring line print but in differnet colors and fonts to make reading more enjoyable and gives you an idea on how you could type it out!! Wonderful book!!

Ever wonder what to write in a card? Always just signing your name with a sigh or saying the same thing as everyone else on that office card? Just remember what Walt Disney said ,"Sometimes it's kind of fun to do the impossible." Well, this book definitely accomplishes the impossible. It will make you sound articulate, smart and very thoughtful. I use it in letters, cards, marketing pieces and even had a saying painted on my foyer wall.

I am finding that this book has about every subject, that you would want to finish a greeting card. The one thing I wanted that it didn't have, is a special section for Anniversary cards. I am not thinking of this as a disadvantage, for the book, because there are so many other wonderful things about it.

I am a card maker and scrapper, so this book is an invaluable tool for me. I've got post it's throughout where some of my favorite quotes are written. This book has every topic you can imaging for that special saying in a card or scrap page. There are humorous quotes , serious quotes and quotes that are so beautiful they tug at your heart strings. Definitely glad I bought this!

'This book has so many great examples for those that make their own greeting cards. It also would get you started on personal notes just added to a bought card. So many of the sayings can be adapted for different situations. A good starting point to help with sentiment. Well organized and easy to find the perfect saying.

I had a book like this before, but couldn't find it. I was so happy to see that I could buy it again and at such a low price.

I suppose it's my fault for not finding out more about this book prior to purchasing it. I'm a 30 year old guy and wanted a book that would help me out with my mental block when it comes to writing a sentiment in a blank card for any number of occasions (engagements, weddings, birthdays, condolences etc). If this is what you too are looking for, then this book isn't for you.If however, you love lace, doilys, cute framed pictures of kittens, collections of beach shells, cross-stitched cushion covers, the colour pink and are of a deeply Christian faith, then I would imagine you're the sort of person who would enjoy this book immensely. It's like Hallmark, with more cheese.

A very helpful book that gives useful verses for cards or scrapbooking. There are a variety of verses for different occasions. e.g: Birthday, Christmas, Holidays, religious, Parenting, Seasons, Love, etc.

It was just what I wanted and I received it the next day. This is the irist time I used Amazon and I will use it again.
