One of my best purchases!!!! Being retired, I don't drink down a mug/cup of coffee within 30 minutes or less, anymore. I tend to dawdle with my coffee as I get lost in my current art project. Prior to receiving these absolutely gorgeous mugs, I would reach for and take a nice draft of my coffee, only to be shocked back to reality by its cold temperature. Now I have the opposite problem (a much, much better problem to have); my coffee is a within a degree or two of the temperature that it came out of the coffee maker. I need only to learn to leave the lid open for a few sort minutes. After my Beveridge is at a palletable temperature, by replacing the lid, I know that I will have a nice hot cup of"Joe" until the very last drop.You just can't go wrong with these stunningly beautiful mugs. I know that there are those tall, stainless steel tumblers that do the exact same thing as these mugs. The problem with these tumblers is that I am not interested in, nor do I want 30 ounces of hot coffee in my hand. These mugs just fill the bill perfectly! So now that you know what an awesome product they are go ahead and push the purchase button. Your husband will think that you truly are an angel the first time you present him with his morning coffee in one of these! Come on, you know that hot coffee is one of the greatest gifts known to mankind. LOLTHIS REVIEW IS MY OWN OPINION. I paid full price for these mugs and would happily do it again.

I really like these cups. They keep things warm a reasonable amount of time. The handle is easy for my 91 year old mother, who has a hand tremor, to grasp. I am worried about the lids though. The lids have a sliding piece that slides over the hole you drink from, and then retracts when you want to drink. That means there is a dark space inside, where the sliding piece retracts into in the lid that I cannot effectively clean that might provide a great home for mold- especially if it gets damp in there. You know, kind of like how rubber duckies, with their dark, damp space inside becomes a great home for mold? If the manufacturer happens to read this review- please tell me how I can keep the interior space of the lid clean so it will not grow mold and present a health hazard? Thanks! A couple weeks later: I did manage to pry the lids open to see if the space inside the lids was accumulating guck that wouldn't get cleaned unless you pryed open the lids. Yes- there was accumulated guck under the lid- I am imagining it is a bacterial stew I was exposing myself to each time I sipped through the lid. I tried cleaning under the lid and popping it back on- it didn't slide appropriately after I popped the lid back together. Bottom line- we will not be using the lids because they cannot be kept clean inside.

Because I like to have a handle, I did not want to buy a Yeti-style vacuum mug. These are double walled stainless and insulated, but not vacuum insulated. I tested how well they kept water hot. I poured near boiling water into a ceramic mug of similar capacity, an Avito with cover, and an Avito without cover. After 40 minutes the water in the ceramic cup was 105F, the uncovered Avito was 128F, and the covered Avito was 164F. By the way, I left the drinking hole in the cover open. My only complaint is that really hot tea or coffee may stay too hot to drink for quite a while after it's poured.

I am very happy with these mugs! They are well made, arrived quickly, and do their job. I ran an experiment by filling both mugs straight from the kuerig. I shut one vent and left the other vent open. After 1 1/2 hours the open mug was doable and the one I only opened to drink from and then closed, was still hot. I could hardly believe it! With such varying reviews I knew I had to find out for myself. It's not a thermos by any means, but I just wanted to eliminate trips to the microwave. The handles are also very comfortable as you can easily fit four fingers through them. Would certainly purchase again for a gift if needed.

These mugs are replacements for an insulated mug my Mom has used for years. She is approaching 90 years old and greatly benefits from a mug that retains the temperatue of its contents, has an easy to grip handle and has a cover to prevent spills when she "shuttles" it with her from kitchen to the living room. These mugs address these three needs, wants and expectations.

These mugs are perfect and perform as I hoped. They keep my coffee hot in the morning while I'm getting ready. Also, I can take this with me to work without worry of breaking, (however it does not fit in the console mug space)...Thankfully the lid closes so it won't leak all over if it falls over. They clean up very well in the dishwasher so all in all, I'm very happy with these mugs.

The mugs themselves are absolutely brilliant - light, sturdy, and easy to clean. They keep my tea warm for hours, and I quite like how they look, as well. My only complaint is a minor one - the lids could be better. Let me clarify by saying that the lids aren't *bad*; they haven't leaked on me yet, and they help keep the heat in very well. I just don't enjoy drinking out of the mug with the lid on. Something about the shape and texture of the plastic turns me off.Overall, these are excellent mugs, and I highly recommend them.

As with most things here I saw the mixed reviews but I gave it a shot.From my experience using this for about the last 2 weeks:Have had no problems with the lids. I do treat them a little more gingerly then if I hadn't read the reviews stating that they are easily broken but so far so good with meThey keep beverages hotter then just your normal cup. Not for a long time like a Yeti but just as good as my last cup with lidAll in all I'm glad I went with these. My wife likes them as well.

Really good product, only problem is they are a little oddlyt shaped. For sure not a travel cup as they will never fit in any cup holder in any vehicle ever lol, also their odd shape make em a bit awkward in the dish washer. The lid is not leak prof, or anything close to that description. It will keep the majority of your drink in your cup if you knock it over but whatever you spill it on is lost forever!.I just use em at home so most of these things don't matter to me, and overall it keeps my coffee hawt and looks really good on my desk. So 4 star

Very pleased with the mugs, they keep hot tea and coffee almost for 2 hoursI don't take milk in my tea or coffee , and the steel is picking the tanning.I am trying boiling water and white vinegar to clean the inside.

I love this cup I use it every day. It doesnt keep you coffee hot for 8 hours but I like that so I can actually drink it in the morning. it’s durable and perfect size
