My original bought-new Pixel 2 XL was dying after about three years of faithful service... First battery charging issues, and then both front and rear facing cameras failed. OK... I get it... Time for a new phone...The problem was, nothing I could find in the current new phone market met my needs at a reasonable price point. I was not looking for yet another $600 or more phone. Besides, I REALLY like the Pixel 2 XL... Far and away the best phone I've ever used.That brought me to this renewed Pixel 2 XL... Price? Very attractive. Features? Come on now... it's the exact same phone that I'm already using and that I love. But maybe the battery is trashed? Has the previous user cracked the screen? Put dents in the side? Whatever... I take good care of my devices... Odds are the previous owner of this phone didn't. But, there's a 90 day warranty... Hard to loose and there are a bunch of really good reviews.OK... Take a chance... Go for it...Fast forward just a few days and the phone arrives. It's in near pristine mechanical/cosmetic condition. So far so good... Connect to my in-home Wi-Fi, restore from my previous phone off the web.... less than an hour later it's restored and my applications and pictures are back. Well done Google... Add an email account and a few other minor tweaks and it's back to the same state as my old phone.So, how about signal strength on basic and LTE connections? Looks just as sensitive as my old phone. NFC? Check. BT? Check. Squeeze activation? works fine, but disabled as fast as I can find the setting. Condition of the USB connector viewed under a microscope (literally!). Clean with only minor wear... Check. Cameras? Check.Move the phone into my previous phone case, install a fresh screen protector... Remember... same make and model so all my previous accessories, including a spare screen protector, fit just fine.Use the phone for another day or two updating to the latest Android 11 along the way. Battery is holding charge noticeably better than the not too shabby three year old battery was doing. An easy two full days of use.I very rarely write long reviews like this... I like this new phone enough to do so.Very... happy... camper...YMMV

My phone looks and operates like brand new. I purchased a device to replace the one that I had been using since new for 3 years. It was the exact same phone because I liked the original so much.Shipment arrived on time, my the merchandise was packaged thoroughly and the phone was aesthetically perfect. It was easy to set up and seemed to operate perfectly.After 3 days, I did notice that the phone repeatedly shut down every time that I would plug it in. I have had that problem in the past and it was always related to an Android software issue. After trying everything including conversing with Google, I was instructed to contact the seller.After making contact, I was able to receive a replacement within just a couple of days with an extended warranty. The seller was very efficient in communicating with me and more than willing to resolve the issue without a hassle of any kind.It has now been a few weeks and my phone still works like brand new.

My Pixel 2XL arrived packaged very well. It was like it was almost-new if you dont mind the scratches inside the usb-c port and some white mark on the speaker i cant seem to get off. The phone arrived with android 10 installed and cant complain. However, i'm really disappointed with the speaker on the top which sounded really bad like it had been damaged. I started to notice it when i go beyond 40% on the volume.I was really looking to those front facing stereo speakers. The charger and cable i got were almost worthless. The cable doesnt transfer data to and from my PC. and doesnt support fast charging.Overall, I really like my pixel 2XL , looks almost new and fantastic for its price.

UPDATE on cell. Upgrade to 4. I did get the cell earphone in top to work. I had to uninstall and do a factory re-set to get it to work. Rest of original post is still good. I did have to change provider. Boost could not activate. Spectrum told me no cigar. I ended up with Sprint for now. So I had to spend $38 for activation and pay for March again. My cell is fine now, it was not let me make a call, went dead and crashed. Doing a clean factory update did fixed the phone. Don't forget to backup so you can recover files. Hope that helps if u run into problem.

(UPDATED 5/12/21) :After many hours both in the Corporate Sprint Store and with the higher teared employee care dept....NOBODY CAN ACTIVATE THIS PHONE ON SPRINTS NETWORK! This and ALL OLDER CDMA AMAZON "RENEWED PHONES" WILL NOT BE ACTIVATABLE ON SPRINT DUE TO THE MERGER WITH T-MOBILE. (as per the seller "smartechgroups.com" new clarification.) You should, however, still be able to use this phone at T-Mobile with their SIM card and plans._______________________________AccuBattery reports a new battery in my flawless refurbished Pixel 2 XL. Great job Amazon Certified! (Will update if changes.)

Seems almost to good to be true but so far I can't tell this phone from new.I desperately needed a replacement for my pixel 2xl given the battery finally expired and the repair shop broke the screen during replacement leaving me without and no timeline as to when it will be completed.So I took a chance and purchased a replacement from this seller.arrived ahead of time with accessories and even a screen protector.keeping my fingers crossed,so far so good, Michael...

I kindof thought this might have been a scam honestly. Saw the other reviews that seemed genuine, so I thought I'd go for it since my little old S7 was on its last leg. There's only a small hairpin thin scratch less than a nail's length on it and it's basically untouched. I love it, it's such a jump from phone quality and it did come with a charger. Fast shipping, only thing with FedEx was they couldn't find my apartment hah but I got it in the end.

Well I might be one of the lucky ones, cuz this phone is pretty good for the price everything about it is great. There's some noticeable wear on the sides but nothing a case can't fix. Overall I'd say go for it!

Very disappointed with this purchase. I was so excited to give this to my partner, but I decided to not even tell her about it. The phone looked like the front glass was put through a Jerry Rig Everything torture test.Scratches all over the screen, the seller tried to "cover" it up with a horrible matte screen protector which only made the screen look worse. I will be staying away from this seller in the future.

This Pixel 2 XL arrived today, it was a reconditioned phone sold off Amazon.ca everything looks good so far, there was already a matte screen protector installed but misaligned. So after setting up the phone I attempted to remove and get ready to install my own matte film protector but noticed this was a matte tempered glass protector with a matte plastic feel. I like it a lot so realigned it, slapped on a clear case, looks brand new. Only a slight scratch on the bottom right thumb area of the screen.Can't seem to find the same replacement glass matte screen protector. Too bad!Phone works great, no complaints so far would not have thought of picking this up at $300-400 used, but got it on flash sale. Didn't know Amazon had a used phone market or even attempted to make it easy to find this section.Very happy.

As the title says, I bought this "professionally inspected" P2XL twice.The first one I received was completely unusable. The screen had terrible burn in, and the physical condition of the phone was poor (scuffs, smudges, dirt, etc). Also the charger was not original, but that was expected. I didn't bother testing other hardware and just returned it.I decided to try it one more time, and the second P2XL is basically brand new. The physical condition looks like new and the screen had zero burn in. And this time it came with an original Google quick charger. I ran hardware tests and every part of this phone is running flawlessly (even the battery life). I've been using it for a few days now and it's perfect. It's a very fast and responsive phone even though it's nearly 3 years old.Giving 4 stars since, based on my experience, this product is a hit or miss. My current phone is basically brand new but I'm still wondering how the first phone I received passed inspection.

This refurb device arrived with a deeply gouged screen, w/one J-shaped scratch that is about 1.5 inches long of varying depths. This display looks like it was a JerryRigEverything's test device, what a shock! My Pixel 2 XL came with an el cheapo screen protector installed to prevent discovery of said Gorilla Glass damage. But to no avail because the v-groove profile of this scratch is wide enough that the scratch shows a white line on the screen protector due to the air gap undeneath. :-( Removed the screen protector and now this gouge/scratch is less visible but still an eyesore during most viewing situations. Seems the bezel, sides, and back of the phone are completely free of damage though! The charging port has little retention left in it, so I really have force in the plug of the usb-c cable provided for the battery indicator to show it is charging. For an aging device there is only noticeable lag in responses from the taps on the screen during high CPU-usage games. Now returning a Pixel that otherwise seems reasonably functional, for a recertified product from "Certified Resellers".

I must say I am IMPRESSED! The phone is like new. There is no scratches or markings anywhere. It works perfectly. The only noticable wear is in the charging plug in there is some small wear marks, but that's it. Plus they installed a screen protector for me, which is a huge help because I am useless at putting them on.
