When we started on ‘project OASI’ we wanted to create a curved climbing shoes that works as well on friction slabs and vertical walls as it does on overhanging routes and boulder problems, and to achieve this we had to re-think our whole design process and invent new technologies. The final result is a shoe of stunning precision as well as exceptional comfort. Its design and system of construction lets the heel sit lower while climbing and is superbly responsive to every situation, relaying detailed information back to the user in any situation.

Unnatural heel fit
The heel cup is HUGE, I mean unless you're a gorilla it's not gonna fit properly. Other than that it's quite a comfortable pair of climbing shoes. I've noticed this is a Tenaya issue, as I had the same problem when I tried on the Mundaka.

10 moccasins stretched out so I decided to give these a shot because I wanted a more aggressive shoe & I am so happy I got these
My 5.10 moccasins stretched out so I decided to give these a shot because I wanted a more aggressive shoe & I am so happy I got these! The sizing is different from my old shoes so I had to buy 3 different sizes to try on but the 7's seemed to be perfect. I'm a 9.5 women's & these shoes are a 7 men's/8 women's.

Great fit and grip
Got these in a size smaller than regular shoes and they fit really well on my narrow feet. They took about a month to break in but now fit perfectly. The toe grip is incredible. I started seeing more and more of these around at the gym.

Make the jump
I'm an avid climber but only been into the hobby for about 3 years. I also ice climb, mountaineer, hike and play basketball. I've always had wide feet and issues with my toenails and especially with my big toes. It will come as no surprise that my chosen hobbies wreck havoc on my poor feet and toes. For climbing I've been using 5.10 Coyote lace-ups which are great, but flat and completely non-egressive. I decided to try the jump to aggressive shoes with the Tenaya Oasi because they are touted as the most comfortable design on the market.I'm not going to say you won't experience pain, you will. But with proper toenail management, frequent use, and a second pair of shoes to switch to on belay, you will be able to make the adjustment happily, and you won't look back!I'm sending new projects in these shoes that were not possible with my old shoes, highly recommended!

5 would have been best. Otherwise
i wear a 9.5/10 street shoe. 8s have a little room. 7.5 would have been best. Otherwise, spectacular shoe! Will purchase again.

These shoes are like slippers. They're very comfortable immediately
These shoes are like slippers. They're very comfortable immediately. I had almost no break in period with them. The down side is that the rubber is a bit softer than other climbing shoes so I am occasionally slipping off tiny toe holds.
