I recently bought one of these mounts and really liked how it worked out, so I decided to get some more. I just want to clear up something about the mounts though: They are weather-proof, even waterproof, because they are made of mostly plastic. However, they DO NOT make your Wyze camera waterproof or weather-proof.The mount is basically a sided-casing… Well, if you think of your camera as a 6-sided cube, then the mount covers only 4 of the 6 sides. Obviously it leaves the front exposed for the lense and sensor, but it also leaves the bottom uncovered. It will keep dust and some light water coming directly from above off the camera, but because it’s not sealed, I wouldn’t recommend using it to place your camera in an entirely exposed location. Now, this seems to be the case for all of the covers in this category. I don’t think this one is designed poorly or anything like that, they’re all basically the same. Then again, the cameras are so inexpensive these days, that maybe risking them a little bit is totally acceptable.Anyway, having these covers/mounts really gives me more options as to where to place my cameras, and they definitely look sharp.

This was the perfect buy for the need I had.

I haven't been using the mount long but so far it has worked great. It has rained several times since I've installed it and the camera has held up fine.

And mounted one of these outside of my store and I'm very pleased with how it's performing. It was easy to install and the picture was just as clear as the indoor cameras

Wow! Recommend fully and what a price. Easy to follow instructions, free app and regular updates improve the program. In the app you can set EACH camera differently for motion, sound, zone sensitivity and notification choices. The V2 and higher now have PERSON detection instead of motion so an outdoor version doesn’t alert for a breeze in trees. There is also a selection to set the camera to alert if an alarm in the home sounds, like a smoke detector.The app shows all cameras on the home screen. Users tap one to see and hear live stream. Users tap EVENTS to see a 10 second clip of an alert. Clips can be downloaded or shared.Users can tap playback to see the full clip by time/date. We bought outside mounts and have these outdoors. Remember to buy the SD card for longer file saves. For number of users: if the main account admin shares, users can only see the feeds in the app. Shared access Users cannot adjust camera settings. If you want all family members to have full access, then everyone logs in as admin, and we have done this simultaneously without a problem. So if any admin changes ‘notification’ it changes for all. The customer service is responsive and immediate.The first picture is the home page. Camera views are edited for privacy. The second view is the Event page, the third view is playing back an event and the option to share or download.

Works well with my Wyze cameras for ours mounting. Fairly easy to install and use. Nice amount of control over positioning the cameras. Using them mounted under eave coverage so that should help protect some from the harsh Florida sun.

Are use these to mount the cameras under the eaves of the house and they seem to be working great.

Amazing camera for the price. My opinion is that its itsnt weatherproof unless its under an awning in a decent housing. Would not use outside if it isnt completly protected from rain.

First thing to be aware of is that these don't make your camera 100% waterproof. They're not fully enclosed or sealed which means if your camera is frequently exposed to driving rain you might need to take more precautions.Having said that these are great little mounts. Very useful if you want something more secure and permanent than the usual supplied magnetic mounts. The plastic is a good quality and should be fairly impact resistant, not that I hope to test that theory any time soon.My main concern was value but at about six pounds each these mounts are a good buy.

Great items I have them all outside with no problems but for spiders building there webs on the lens,Wi-fi is greatMotion tracking is fantastic if a little to sensitiveThe only down side is sound ....you cannot turn it off which sets off alarms all the time

Excellent value for money, especially when bought in the three-pack.Easy to use, it's not the most substantial mount, but it's fine for the money. It fits the Neos Smartcam perfectly and both camera and mount have continued to give good service during the recent wet and stormy weather.

These are not very sturdy not very water proof and the cameras are not safe very unhappy bought the covers and extensions x 3 not happy after seeing how unsafe the camera is

works perfect and I use the cover for one of my cameras out in my garden for watching badgers. we have had some very bad weather and no issues at all
