BLACK+DECKER 1200W Easy Steam Iron

Very easy to understand and use.. and works really great, everything is mentioned in details in the users manual, so anyone who buy it won't face any difficulty to use it.. steam iron, dry iron anything u want anytime with perfect finish.. its just awesome ! my wife is so happy that we no more have to give our attires to laundry separately , its at home in your hand anytime ! u wont b able to identify which one is from laundry and which u ironed yourself with Black & Decker easy steam iron, it works that great :)

The iron works like a gem! I have read all the reviews, and honestly, I do not have any problems with the iron leaking water. I got it to iron my uniforms and it did a great job. I think if you over fill the iron, it will leak water. I also see that the water button is right by your thumb, so if you push it, you'll get water as you are suppose to. Hey, its a great iron for the price. I cant speak to anyone else, but I have had no problems. I think people need to just see for themselves it works for me well :)!

Great iron at a low price. While i personally prefer heavy weight irons, this one is super light weigtht, but does it's job right. The only problem i have with this particular iron is it doesn't have dry heat. For example, when i want to attach the patch or fusible backing, its says to use hottest heat without any steam. This iron goes to the highest setting heat with steam only( can't have dry heat). Other than that- great iron. Blue plastic is see though- so you can easily see how much water is still inside- which is a good bonus

This iron works great! It gets hot enough and the steam is awesome as well. It doesn't leak, and it also warms up fast. I do a lot of sewing and need to iron fabrics, this makes the job easy, and hassle free. The price was awesome as well.

I bought this to replace my GE Light n Easy iron that gave out after about 30 years. I'm accustomed to a light iron, and in that regard this one does not disappoint. It's quite a bit larger than my old iron. I expected something smaller, given the light weight. They kept the size of a traditional iron and shaved off weight by making the bulk of it from thin plastic. Time will tell how it will hold up. The plastic is bright blue and translucent, a bit like a blueberry iMac, but useful. I haven't used it much yet but I can tell you it got hot in a flash, and the ironing surface is smooth as silk. U doubt if I'll get 30 years out of this one, but if it lasts 10 I'll be pleased.

It's a good iron, it functions like it should, takes out wrinkles well. My only issue is that as I'm moving the iron back and forth, the water from the inside seems to be spilling out? Either I'm ironing too fast or it's just a fault with the product. The water wasn't filled to the top, not even close. Is there some kind of cover for the little water inserter? Also when you finish ironing a part and lift the iron up, it tends to spaz and spray some water out..a little weird but the iron's still good. Don't expect anything fabulous, but B&D should have noticed the flaws or added a finishing touch, unless its only my iron that spills water. Overall, it's good enough for the price :)

Easy of using

This in NO way even remotely resembles the two other B&D Easy Steam Compact Irons that I own and use. Thought I would take a chance and order the third on here as I had surgery and wasn't able to get about. What a mistake! This stupid thing will not put out steam properly, surges from hardly any heat to so hot that it scorches the fabric with no notice, cannot maintain the proper heat setting even when I am not attempting to use the hotter (steam) settings. Would have returned it within the return time frame, but had yet another surgery and missed the deadline, so have been soldiering on with it...but it made me so mad this evening that I stopped to write this, hopefully to save some other unsuspecting soul from wasting money on this junk. All around, this is a rip-off. WORST PURCHASE EVER ON AMAZON. Makes me wonder if B&D has lost their collective minds.

Disappointed. The vertical steam doesn't work. In fact, the normal steam doesn't work either - you can press the button for steam and nothing happens, then randomly steam comes out..

Este tipo de planchas siempre son buenas, se usan un rato y luego se van a la basura, .. ya no vale la pena ni abrirlas cuando fallan, .. si deja de calentar, se desenchufa y se pone en el bote de plásticos. tan tan. y a comprar otra.

No technical information mentioned about the product that it operates on 120 volt. Which has given me a huge loss because in India 230 volt electricity is only avalable. Hence, your this product is worthless. Must return my money back or I will sue you in consumer court.
