I bought this Rum for a Christmas present, it didn't disappoint!It looks and more importantly..tastes great!Some other brands of Rum I have tried have given me instant heartburn, so I was a little hesitant to try some when my partner opened it, when I did I was pleasantly surprised-it has a lovely smooth taste and no 'paint stripper' effect at all.We both enjoyed it, it is very tasty and I would buy it again.

I was brought Admirals Cask Rum (the barrel version) for my birthday and really enjoyed it. I’ve been looking for Admirals cask rum in a bottle (to save a few pennies), plus I don’t need another barrel. So I was delighted to find that OSA produce it in fantastic diamond bottle. This is now my favourite Rum, beautiful bottle, beautiful rum with a similar flavour to Havana Club 7. Very happy customer and subscribed to get a bottle delivered every month 😊

There is a rule which says that the more novel the packaging, the less the product. I’m afraid that this is the case here. There’s no denying that putting rum in a faux barrel is a neat publicity trick, but when it comes to the rum itself, well, for me it was a huge disappointment. The publicity photos show a dark rum; in reality its amber in colour. The overwhelming flavour is vanilla and little else. For £38, I feel I’ve been seen off, especially when far better rums like Diplomatico Rum Reserva Exclusiva and Pussers Gunpowder Proof are available for a similar price.

Love the little story on the barrel adds to the product, not tasted the rum as it's a present but more than happy with the presentation, quick delivery too.

My fathers favourite whisky is Clubhouse. When I saw this barrel edition I had to buy it for his 60th and very pleased I did. The barrel is made from a realistic wood effect plastic, strong and good quality. On the shelf it looks exactly like a real wood barrel, good purchase. The barrel sits on a stand which covers a screw top bottle lid, to pour the whisky lift the barrel off the stand, unscrew the cap and enjoy. A feature that I know my father will love is that the barrel can be refilled. Dad can purchase his usual Clubhouse Scotch and decant it into his present 😊 Highly recommend, it's a great gift containing nice Scotch – Ordered another one for myself 😉

The barrel is plastic, and is quite easy to take apart, the "rings" can be slipped off to open the barrel, the bottle itself is unmarked, but not an unpleasant design! The rum, nice flavour to it, 40% proof, what more needs to be said!

My husband has only evwr drank known brands of rum so i wasnt sure how it would taste, but i really brought it as a present because it looked realy good.He loved it, and loved the taste too so it was a win win!

Meh. Very average rum. Quite harsh drunk neat and a lot better available for the price
