These are worth it.
These worked absolutely great for our use in connecting to control panels for our laptops. The ability to make quick connections and to color code per terminals without resorting to soldering. PERFECT!!

Accidental failure maybe?
The female DB-9 was received with pins 1, 2, and 7 shorted to each other. Maie DB-9 was just fine. Perhaps mine was just a low probability failure, hard to say? I was still able to use it because I only use 5 out of the 9 pins.

Ich habe den YIOVVOM DB9-Adapter (male, RS232 auf 3-polig) für ein DIY-Projekt verwendet – konkret für eine selbstgebaute Buzzeranlage, bei der ich die Lampen beim Transport schnell an- und abstecken wollte. Der Adapter hat genau das getan, was er soll: fester Sitz, gute Verarbeitung, und die Schraubklemmen halten die Leitungen sicher fest.
