6/3 SOOW SO 600V Portable Power Cord Outdoor Durable Flexible Wire Cable (6/3 SOOW Cable, 150')

Very heavy wire and very flexible. I am using it to power my RV 150 ft from power source. I added RV ends and have a much better extension cord than available at RV supply for a lower price. A/C and Microwave run just fine at the same time. Using 3, 50 ft RV cords end to end wasn't working. There are a lot of online voltage drop calculators that will indicate that 6 awg is the way to go. I'm not sure they are targeting the RV market but this is great for that. Using a small cord can kill your appliances.

Purchased this to make a 240V welder extension that would allow me to reconfigure the male-end quickly. The cable is sturdy, easy to work with and pliable. This is the best price I found for 6/3 for the length, even better than some 10 and 8 gauge SOOW cable I found at the same length, so why not go bigger and assure better power on the other end?My only complaint is the cable needs to air out some, it has a strong scent to it that lessens over time.

Although the cost ($118) was a little more than I wanted to pay for 50 ft of 6/3 cable, I am very pleased with my purchase. This is being used for a 50a generator cable. Originally I bought Romex 8/3, but it was absolutely awful to work with, and is really meant for indoor wiring. This cable doesn't kink at all, and is very easy to work with. Stripping the wires to put on a connector was much easier than I thought it would be for 6 gauge wire. Insulation comes off without a fight! I highly recommend this cable.

I am useing this product to extend my welder 20, 30,or 50 feet from my garage outlet to work on projects.i bought the 100foot roll of 6ga wire.nice and flexible. Time will tell how it holds up. This was the only way to have true 50amp 6ga wire to my welder .I just need to find better male and female connections,be nice if there were water tight ends .it's just the wire ,no ends.

Great for my 3 phase AC wind turbine I ran this all the way up then down to my 3 phase AC throw switch and to my dump load controller and solid state relay board. Awesome power getting 1,200 watts now

This cable was used to increase the distance from the power receptacle to the work site for an AC welder. Works great and no voltage drop noticed.

I bought this cable to feed a 10,000W shop heater. Conduit seemed out of the question. The thick walls of this cable made a perfect solution.

I like it can be wounded up when I not using it as generator cable. The cable is made very well nothing cheap about it. I may cut it use some for welder extension cord because I got 50 feet. The wires themselves are made up of small strands of copper which make it flexible with plenty strain cord reinforcement.
