Amazing deal, for quality!

This is a great set of paint brushes. We were considering buying the Melissa and Doug brushes, but some reviewers said the bristles were a bit flimsy and sparse, so we went with this set. My son loves them! They come in several different colors so you can match the paint brushes to the paint cups. They are large brushes, so they wouldn't be good for detail painting that older children might do. My son is two, however, and just wants to smear the paint all over the paper, so they work great! Very durable, easy to clean, and they seem high-quality!*************UPDATE***********We've been using these brushes for about 7 months now. My son has been able to twist the "brush" part off from the handle pretty easily, creating a stubby brush and an empty handle. It hasn't been a huge problem. I just used some super glue and put them back together. He learned how to twist the caps off of pens and markers, so he thought he should twist his paint brushes, too. I just wanted to update to tell anyone that may buy this set to just keep an eye on them. You can easily glue them back together. I did reduce my rating from 5 stars to 4, just because they aren't quite as durable as they could be.

You can buy these from Sam's Club online for 6.88 which includes shipping. I paid more and also had to pay shipping. They do not say they are from Kaplan Learning company any where on the package like the listing states. I was not aware they were from Sam's Club until they came with a Sam's packing slip!! Not too happy about that.

My 2 year old pulled the brush end off a few of these but I was able to glue them right back on. We have had minimal bristle loss and have used the brushes at least 15 times over the past 9 months. They clean up pretty well although I try not to let the paint get dry on the brush so I'm not sure how they would do with less immediate attention.

If you are looking for a child's paint brush this would work but anything else I wouldn't recommend since the bristles easily come out even after I washed them.

Bought these brushes to use for painting with my 3 year old nieces while on vacation and they were just what we needed. The colors on the handles were great for the kids so they knew which brush could go in each paint. They were also able to use the brushes to paint on their bodies. The bristles got stained, but the majority of the paint washed out very quickly and the handles were easy to clean.

Great set of brushes for sidewalk paint! Exactly what I was looking for. The bristles are a little firm which is great for using on a driveway!

They shed badly. I spent more time picking bristles out if my projects. It’s a shame, the size is perfect and easy to grip. I bought a second pack Incase the first one was just a bad lot but the same thing happened.
