Good product easy to attach and use

My shoulder had begun to suffer with my old heavy garden hose as I wound it in. This one is so much better. It is light enough for my six year old grandson to carry yet once it gets going and has expanded, reaches to the far end of the garden. He loved the various alternative styles of spray which is very useful for all the individual needs of different plants. I expected it to be more difficult to fit to my garden tap but it slotted on easily. It seems to be good quality so I hope it will last longer than some other reviewers suggest.

Well wow magic that is the LuFeng 2019 upgrade garden flexible 50ft hose pipe that expands. The product is made of strong sturdy and durable materials . The hose expands so much it save all the time rolling or untangling a normal hosepipe. The power gun is awesome as it has 9 spray choices from flat to power to 7nother modes. The pressure from the hose and the gun is really good as you can see from the images iv taken . Overall a quality expandable flexible tangle trouble free hosepipe made from quality materials and comes with a supplied hanging hook and power gun . I would buy again if I needed to but can see this product lasting a long time . Overall the best hosepipe and gun iv owned so much easier than the normal or roll ones as this simply expands when you turn the water on and detracts when you release the water and turned it off. I reccomend this product for its build, materials are quality and durable and at such a bargain price. Also delivery was fast I am happy with my purchase 5 star product

really happy with this product, its robust and really stretches out when needed. it came with various metal fittings, i would not say they are made from brass but are probably brass coated or something. i have a plastic tap head and the metal fitting keeps falling off, you need to tighten it constantly but i plan on replacing the tap head with a metal one and see if that makes a difference. if you tighten it enough it will stay on, but unfortunately the more you move or pull it about it loosens and falls off. so not great on plastic taps so be warned. beyond that I'm very happy with the hose, first evening out i was testing the length of it, i took a chance and went across the road to water some plants and a car came, i couldn't gather it up in time and the car drove over it, and to my surprise there was no damage. the nozzle has a load of different spray settings, some are pointless and others just try and soak you rather than anything else, but there are probably 4 settings that i find useful. i hooked it up to my Karcher power washer and it operated fine, so no worries there. overall i'm quite happy with the product, i have to knock off a star for it not being really compatible with a plastic tap head, if it works ok with a metal tap head then i would happily give this a 5 star rating. Unfortunately I had to update this review and knock another 2 stars of this product, overall the hose itself is great but the brass connectors are beyond useless.. at this point they just won't stay on my tap.. I cannot use this product anymore until I purchase a metal tap head.. I will update further when I do.. but for now, DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT IF YOU HAVE A PLASTIC TAP HEAD.. Feb 2021. Further update, I managed to sort the brass head issue by getting a brass spout for my tap, however now the hose spray nozzle attachment has failed.. water is just coming out of every side of it now, when you twist it to select a different spray setting, it just sprays out from all angles.. I took it apart to see what was the problem and couldn't see anything broken, it may be a washer or something but I don't know.. so I have to say, over time, this product becomes absoulely worthless.. everything has failed on it. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT.

This is either the 6th or 7th flexible silicone garden hose we've bought. They are fantastic things. So much easier to use than a traditional hose. When not in use (running water) they are really flexible and easy to tuck away or fold up. When in use, the hose swells with the pressure but is still very flexible. However. Be aware. These hoses last about 1 year max in our experience. Hence having bought so many. Amazon are great of course, they always refund me when the old one's go wrong. If you catch it before the years up! One of mine we missed the deadline, so will have to live with the small leak. What seems to happen is over time, if left in the sun for instance, they eventually develop a small leak along the silicone. Not at the ends - but mid section. Definitely don't leave them out in winter - empty them and store them dry in a shed or garage. But even the one I treated well last year, developed a hole, then completely split along the length last week. Full refund by Amazon - bought this one. Has a 2 year warranty can't ask better than that. Looks slightly better made too. Similar look, but the cloth outside looks a more consistent finish. The spray nozzle also looks really well made. Nice metal and place finish. Though not tried it, as have many other nozzles.

The length of the hose is great for medium/large gardens and its small storage size is ideal. Due to the length and stretchiness it takes awhile for the water pressure to get up, opening the gun to spray water then causes the hose to contract/shorten and the pressure to drop which is annoying. The spray gun is very good quality with lots of varying modes, the included keep-on latch is very useful for filling a hot tub and leaving unattended. The quality of the hose is less so great, ours developed a leak after just a couple of months.
