Not sure why this has so many negative reviews. I think people are expecting it to be something else? It's the same brand as Schneeberg which seems to get better reviews despite it being the same thing just in a glass vial not plastic.I bought this because I had a cold with a mixture of blocked and runny nose. This solved both problems by drying up and unblocking.The premise of this product has been around for a century at least. It was designed to keep you going when drinking alcohol. It's essentially menthol and sugar. Alcohol can causes a stuffy nose due to vasodilation, and menthol can help unblock it. Sugar is meant to liven you up, make you feel more awake when you have had one too many Gluhweins. Sugar can also aid low blood sugar, insulin shock and dehydration, all of which alcohol can cause.The container it's in is really handy. Firstly, it's very thin so it fits easily in a pocket without a buldge. Secondly, all you do is twist two parts until the dispensing holes align then gently tap. Where the hole is, is marked, so it's easy to open it. I prefer this to their Schneeberg because the Schneeburg is in a slightly heavy thick glass vial that probably shouldn't be in your pocked because it's glass and a weird shape. Plus the plastic cap comes off easily because it doesn't have a long thread.
