Our six-year-old girl is an eager reader, though not yet proficient. Since we bought these books in December, she has read them over and over again. She loves to read them out loud, and will also read silently to herself. We bought two different value packs, so she has quite the collection.They are perfect for her sense of humor (and remind me in part of the Amelia Bedelia books I loved as a child 30 years ago). The reading level keeps her engaged, and she has become much more confident and capable in just a few weeks.I am so pleased with these books, and so is she!

You will be getting a pack of 6 books, not 4 (and no box - I thought there was a box around them by looking at the picture). My newborn niece is named Eloise. I bought these Ready to Read books so that her sister who is not yet in school can begin to learn to read -- and have fun reading to her new baby sister. This is exactly what is happening and we are all pleased!! Great books...they are short, have only two or three short sentences on each page, and repetition that will help in learning sight words and other words! Great series for anyone wanting to assist a young one learn to read.

My granddaughter absolutely loves the Eloise series of books probably because she's as mischievous as her. They're great beginning reading books and will keep her busy over the summer. Packaging great, delivery was prompt and the price was especially good. Thanks again, Amazon.

Great books for a grandniece. She started reading them right away. She is 6-yo and they were just right for her reading ability.

this is a nice little bundle of SIX books- not 4. they are great for kindergarten or first grade, learning to read. simple, repetitive, and fun. we love eloise in our house (my daughter is names eloise!), so these were a huge hit at christmas! highly recommend, great value.
