Phocus 3 Lens Bundle for iPhone 4 and 4S

the composite case is very well made, and is very comfortable to hold.the phone sits snugly in the case, and the wonderful design gives access to all ports, switches and buttons.the cold shoe mount, and multiple tripod mounts are great to have.the lenses are decent optically, but don't expect zeiss quality; it's great to have lens selection with a relatively small form-factor.the biggest drawback is that slight vignetting occurs (with both telephoto and wide) using the native iphone camera app. vignetting is less noticeable using a square format, like hipstamatic.i'm confident that vignetting would be eliminated if the wide lens did not have the rear filter, or 'lens' which is for macro.also, the front element lens covers don't fit at all, but with the 49mm filter thread, one could easy pop on a uv filter, and call it a day.all in all, i'm very pleased with the phocus. an additional feature i'd love to see would be an integrated shutter release in the grip portion of the case, but it's very comfortable, and pressing the screen/shutter is not awkward at all.the case provides great stability which will aid many in reducing camera shake.an added bonus is that the case (in landscape orientation) sits flat; so if you forgot your tripod, and have a flat surface to place your camera, you're all set.

This device is certainly not for everyday use. Its bulk makes it impossible to put in your pocket. I had hoped it would be no bulkier than a standard camera case and that I would have been able to use my Belkin LiveAction Camera Grip with it, but that was not to be. (It would be nice if a future version of the Phocus provided the additional functionality as provided by the Belkin Camera Grip.)If you use your iphone for professional use and need a place to mount lights, microphones, wide angle/telephoto lenses, etc then this case is perfect for that.

If you want to use your iPhone for video recording and want to take it to the next level, get this. Works as advertised and make video quality better.

The kit comprises a solid, well-designed iPhone holder replete with brass settings for tripod fitting. The lenses are beautifully made, again, with brass fittings. There is a wide angle lens which comes apart to make a macro lens, and a telephoto lens. The whole kit seems to be constructed of quality materials and there is a reassuring feel as the lenses are screwed into the brass-mounted holder on the holder.The quality of the images is pretty impressive limited only (I suspect) by the quality of the lens on the iPhone itself. This isn't a miniature piece of kit, there are other tiny slip on lenses suitable for that. But, if you're willing to carry this set in a small bag and be ready to take a minute to set up, the quality should encourage you.

La prima cosa che mi è saltata all'occhio è stata la qualità dei materiali. Ottima qualità.Le lenti fanno non fanno miracoli. Secondo me la lente migliore è la macro.La lente grandangolare purtroppo da un effetto sfocato ai lati dell'immagine che non si può eliminare.La lente zoom ingrandisce poco e da una distorsione all'immagine che può essere un po fastidiosa.Il case per quanto ingombrante possa essere fornisce una presa veramente ottima, facilitando lo scatto.In definitiva sono rimasto mezzo soddisfatto. 4 stelle se avessi speso di meno. 5 se avessi speso meno e la grandangolare non avesse presentato difetti.
