Quality hammer grease from trusted Makita brand
I bought this grease as an impulse buy when I saw that it was on sale for less than $2. I am a DIYer and have an older HF SDS-plus rotary hammer, and a newer Bosch SDS-max rotary hammer. They only get occasional use, and I have never changed or added grease to them, so I thought this would be a good idea to get this grease and properly maintain these tools.I was expecting that this might be grease that is repackaged by a third party into small tubes, but was pleasantly surprised to find that the bottle is embossed with the Makita logo, so it's pretty certain that this was actually packaged by Makita. For this low price, it was a no-brainer just to get this and to do the simple maintenance on these tools.

Great product
This works perfectly for the Makita or any of the other rotary hammers I have several of them.

Good product, good value.
Not much to say. It's a good quality grease at a good price. The compact size makes it easy to fit in the SDS toolbox, so it's always handy.

tiny bottle
I realize when purchasing that the bottle was small, but this was tiny and wasn't enough to fill the grease reservoir of my rotary hammer drill fully. If you have a hammer drill that needs grease to run, purchase at least two bottles.

Good for refilliing grease pits
Found out that my $5 auction Makita HR5000 rotary hammer grease pit was absolutely empty during restoration. Figured that other significantly cheaper greases probably wouldn't be right for it (like white lithium or silicone), so went with this OEM grease, which WAS expensive at $5-8 during 2019, but now it's a no brainer at $1.25 right now. There is also a 500g bottle, but it's $42, making these 28-30g at $1.25 a far better cost ratio. You would need to buy 18 of these, totally $22.50, to get even at 504g (18*28g). Bought 5 of them, which appeared to be the limit, but will likely need and buy more as long as it stays at $1.25 or lower. Also very clearly marked "Made in Japan", so it should be good quality.Don't know how well these will perform in other areas that need tool grease, but these are specifically formulated for Makita's rotary hammer grease pits.
