Q: does it produce enough light for an indoor garden?

I believe it'll depend on how big is the area to be covered and how high is the ceiling, I'm using it in a close to 120 square feet area in a 10 feet high ceiling and it produces plenty of light. Hope this info will help you somehow.

Q: Will this work with the Solatube brand skylights, 14" 290DS?

Thank you for your interest in the ODL Dome, but unfortunately, it will not work on a different brand Tubular Skylight. Marcia / ODL

Q: What angles will the collect sunlight if it is placed on top of a vertical tube?

Thank you for your interest in the ODL Tubular Skylight. The tubing can angle up to 45 degrees. The reflective optics on the dome, will bring the sunlight into the tubing to reflect throughout. Marcia / ODL

Q: How thick is the plastic?

Unsure of thickness. I am a roofing contractor. I replaced on a customer's house. Original was broken by very large hail. Should stand up to normal weather.
