Great watch, but still big for a small wrist
I'm more of a "run for exercise" person and wouldn't call myself a "runner" in that i'm not into racing or marathons. That said, this watch does everything I want it to - measures distance, pace, lap, splits, elevation, gps, etc. The online portal is very easy to use and allows you to see progress, set goals, map runs and view activities. The charging connector to the watch is different, but doesn't take much to figure out.I also bought the Garmin Premium Heart Rate Monitor to measure training zones and calories and it's great for using indoors or while doing non-running exercises such as tennis. As a pair, I like them a lot, but there are a few cons:1. I have a small wrist and this watch face is quite large. I wear a sweat band underneath which helps. To be clear, there isn't a watch that would really fit my small wrist so I can live with the "hack" i've devised.2. Despite the large face, it doesn't show everything I want on the same face. You can't see calories in real time, you have to wait to view those in the "History." In my perfect world I would see pace, calories, distance on the same face and skip the lap.3. Finding a satellite takes about a full minute given the large trees in my neighborhood. Once it locks it's fine so i have to remember to start finding the satellite during my warmup or sit it near a window while i get ready.Overall i'm really glad I bought it and would recommend it to anyone in my category of "runner," I won't speak for the marathoners.

Great GPS watch!
I started with the Garmin 10, and while I found the watch was great, I was frustrated with the fact that it only told me current pace, and not the average pace for the mile. While this may not be a big deal for some, I was training for my first half marathon and cared about how fast I was averaging a mile, not how fast I was currently going. Furthermore, I wanted to add a heart rate monitor, and the 10 was not compatible. After doing my research and speaking directly with Garmin, I purchased the 210, along with a heart rate monitor. I have not been disappointed. The watch works just as I had hoped - it picks up the GPS fairly quickly, and I have it set to tell me my current heart rate along with the average mile pace. When I get home, I put it in the cradle and the watch easily uploads to the computer. As a pleasant surprise, I wore the heart rate monitor to an indoor spin class and turned my watch on. The watch recognized the fact that I was spinning without me providing any input, and labeled the workout on my calendar when I uploaded the information. I will be running in my second half marathon on Saturday, and will be wearing my Garmin 210 to help me pace the race. I could not be happier with the purchase!

LOVE IT!
I absolutely love this!!! It so user friendly and the color is incredible!!!! It tracks everything, get's the GPS signal very fast. I have nothing bad to say but one thing. I went to the beach with a friend and was in the pool just hanging out and the watch was on but I never had my hand fully in the water for more than 5 minutes tops an never under 1 m of water, it got condensation, really bad and then after like 2 days it died, it worked but the screen (ink) didn't show, you could here and use the light but no number appeared. Talked to garmin, they were INCREDIBLE, they told me to ship out that one, and seriously they sent out my new one the same day and got it in 4 days!!!! They were attenta and super understanding abut what happenned. Great services. Got my new one and will not be taking it the beach though I guess I just got a bad one. But wont risk it anymore!Love it though, wouldn't change it

Love it, but Garmin is still way too proprietary for general iOS apps
The watch is comfortable and great to use. The GPS feature is very accurate and way better than what my iPhone 5S logs for my workouts. However the Garmin hardware is quite proprietary and does not work well with other applications. If you want to sync directly to your iPhone, you cannot with this watch. you have to sync it with a clunky clip to USB adapter that has problems staying in place when connected to the phone, and the Garmin website to sync and download the necessary computer apps is super complicated and can't find half the apps I need.If you have other Garmin products and want to add this to your accessories, it will work out great. For those of you that want to sync directly to your phone or mobile app, this is def not for you. I found that the Wahoo Blue products better suited my needs and performed very well with my choice of mobile apps.

Watch is great. Charger is not.
I gave this to my wife as a present. She has liked using it and finds it pretty good. The main complaint she has it that the charging cable is very finicky and not reliable. The clip side (that attaches to the watch) does not engage very well. The USB side (to the computer) connect all the time. She has to wiggle the cord constantly to be able to upload her data. It does not appear to be the USB port on the laptop because other USB cords connect fine.

Great GPS
Stylish Color, simple easy to use design. I bought this for my wife who prefers a simple, no frills GPS trainer. She basically wants to know: 1.How fast she is going (current pace) 2. How far she's gone (current distance) 3. Elapsed time. This receiver can do more than that, especially if you connect it to a PC. However after checking it out, it seems this particular device caters to the Keep It Simple crowd. Great Garmin quality.

So I thought it was just bad luck and decided to buy another one for her
This is the second Garmin Forerunner 210 that I have become familiar to. The first one that I bought for my mom died suddenly. So I thought it was just bad luck and decided to buy another one for her. This one is still running after two years. Every once in a while it freezes or begin to beep and there's no way to make it stop untill the battery dies. Sometimes its a pain to charge it too. In general it's ok, although I would recomend a higher model. For example, my father bought a refurbished Garmin Forerunner 410 and it has never given any problems.
