I just received this alarm radio and after 2 nights, I plan to return it. WARNING, If you need a dark room to sleep, do not buy this product. Even on the DIM setting the light from the time numbers is bright enough to disturb your sleep. I have had clocks with red light previously and when I turned it to face the wall, I was undisturbed by the light. With this new one, when I turned it away from me to face the wall it acted like a spotlight and literally lit up the whole room even on the DIM setting. I did not heed previous recommendations which said the light given off by this radio was too bright, but I need it dark to sleep and this is bright, so I covered it with a cloth so I could sleep. The alarm worked fine and it was all very easy to set up. The radio quality is not the best, but I rarely use the radio, And the scanning feature to find a station I like is very daunting. But except for the intense light I would have kept it. Also the snooze feature and on and off buttons are easy to use.

It is worth about $12, if that. It's face cover fell off after opening held on by double sided tape. Radio is a a joke when it comes to sound. Money being made if you buy...you giving it to them. Ya it does the thing, but it is cheap. Buy it if you want, I feel ripped off. looks good on pictures but it is cheap. Up to you, I feel violated...go from there.Update: the face plate snapped back into place, so well I am going easier on it. But still it is not the thing, I really wanted. It does work, but not $24 dollars worth.

I really like this clock radio. I don't find it to be too bright on the dim setting. The alarm starts out on the quiet side but gets louder if not shut off right away. The display is easy to read even in the daytime. Had no problem getting radio reception either. So far very happy with this.

This clock radio was so bad that I truly believe the 5 star raters were not customers! Out of the box, the buttons stuck or jammed.....barely audible alarm and so cheaply made that I am positive it would have broken from a one foot fall! AND, the illumination of the numbers on the clock lit up the entire bedroom.....brighter than my night light! Not eve sure why I am giving it ONE star

Worked as a clock but I could tell how cheaply made it was as soon as I took it out of the box. The alarm was staticky & quiet. This clock is worth about $5, not $25. Returning immediately.

I love this alarm clock radio! The large blue digits are bold and easy to read. Also, I love that the speaker is front facing, which not only sounds cool, but looks cool. The radio doesn't have much bass response, but it's surprising how loud it can get. The top-mounted push button controls function smoothly and are easy to understand. The rear-mounted USB charging ports are a great convenience and they work perfectly. I really don't have any complaints about this unit. The snooze button also functions as a display dimmer if you hold it down for a few seconds and it dims by about 50%. I think this clock radio is great and certainly worth it!

the display is VERY bright. I had to hide the clock a little behind something so it doesn't light up the room. I do like the large numbers, they are very easy to read (day & night) the radio is ok. true it is a small radio so the speaker is small therefore, not superb sound but not awful either.Update..found dim function by accident fumbling in the dark to shut radio off. Option was not mentioned in my instructions

I have had this clock radio for about ten days now. I am basically needing it more as a radio/timer in the night rather than an alarm. The radio has the most awful tinniest sound I have heard from a radio since I was a teenager (half a century ago) and had a small battery operated radio at school. It is also really bright even on the dimmest setting so would not want this in my bedroom. Nice large size numbers. It may work great as an alarm but today I went to Wal-Mart and bought another fairly cheap clock radio which sounds so much better. Returning it tomorrow.
