Copper Sulfate Mini Crystals 50lb Bag

This is the exact size granule you want for algae control. Light enough that it doesn't penetrate the algae and sink to the bottom yet large enough to resist some wind from blowing the powder back for you to breathe.

We use copper sulfate to control algae in a 12 acre lake and use about 4-50 pound bags a season. Copper Sulfate from Amazon/Earthworks is always the right granularity we need/order and is shipped quickly. Earthworks customer service was great the only time I have had to contact them.

We have a rather large pond (approx 2-3 acres of pond) and this Completely cleared up our algae problem around our pond edges!

A bit smaller crystals than i was expecting but it cleared my hydrilla in 3 days.

I use it to control the moss on our pond. The mini crystals are the right size for this application.

The contents of the bag are 99+% copper sulfate pentahydrate. The bag says 25% copper derived from copper sulfate pentahydrate. If you look up the chemical formula and the atomic weights, the fraction of copper is 64/(64+32+64+5(2+16))=0.25. That's 25% copper. I've rounded off the atomic weights to the nearest digit.
