It could be a good light but the design is flawed. Most importantly the PIR (that little stud you can see just below the solar panel) has a quite narrow 90deg field of view but that is 45deg down and 45 upwards which makes no sense (who needs a PIR pointing upwards?). Mounted above a door it's fine if you're approaching from a distance within that angle but it won't activate when you leave the house for example because you're not in it's field of view. Also anyone approaching from the side will not activate the light.The upper light that stays on all the time at night is pointless except possibly as decoration, it's weak, doesn't throw light any distance and so drains the battery for no good reason.

I was rather sceptical when I saw these lamps, they are quite small and I didn't think they would be very effective. I couldn't have been more wrong.We have them on our gate posts, one either side. The constant light after dark makes the gates easy to spot from the dark roadway and the motion detectors switch the lights to full power as they are approached lighting the end of the drive very effectively. So far with a mixture of sunny, cloudy and rainy days they have not failed to stay on throughout the hours of darkness. I'm very impressed.

Bought these in hope they would be better than others I’ve tried but no , not very bright when they go off I put 2 side by side still didn’t light up my small 4 Mtr patio , but you have got to be realistic one solitary LED light on main beam is never going to do that , nowhere near £20 I think they must buy these for £5

The media could not be loaded.  These just arrived yesterday morning, I love they are all stainless steel. I set them out in full sun immediately and I switched them on at dusk. They lit as the sun went down and stayed lit for more than 8 hours. All four of them. They produce quite a bit of light and are perfect to light my house at night.This is my third attempt to find solar lights to light my house and the first two sets, from different manufacturers, were a dismal failure. If these continue to perform at the same level, even for a year, I'll call them a resounding success. If they do not, believe me when I say that I will be updating this review.

amazing wee light.expected to be bigger however it doesn't disappoint... it gives nice frosty white light... i am using it in the porch so i can see my keys ...not too bright yet bright enough to see which key to chose etcthe only negative ... it would be nice if it had a hole on the back to hang it on a nail rather than using the sticker that comes with it.

does the job well and batteries last a long time.Im useing mine in cat litter box (inclosed one), its stuck to top of box and when cat goes into it of a night it lights up well.Strong sticky tape, as not fell down yet!

I needed a light for the front door as the area is shaded and finding the keyhole in the dark sometimes seem impossible. This light solved my problem. Very responsive, the buy one get one is a brilliant idea as once I fixed the first one I thought of were else I could fit another. I will using these as stocking fillers this year.

Brilliant little light I now have six of these around the house. works extremely well is solid and the sensor is great I bought two but just ordered 4 more. Delivered on time good packaging but a good little item as well. Thanks
