Color for Baby

Nice series for infants and older babies.
I love this book set! I wanted a series that would expose my baby to art early on and this book set does it! Not only does baby look at art but also learns about color. My baby is 15 weeks so I only use the blue and red books with him because they have the most contrasting colors and that's what he can best see right now. I'm not a big fan of contemporary art (I mean, "Some blu-tack kneaded, rolled into a wall and depressed against a wall", is somehow art I don't really get), but contempo art is great for kids.

Engaging and durable
The booklets are interesting to me as well as my baby. They can be propped up for her to look at. The way they fold out is fun for baby to play with. They're different and interesting- a great gift. I've been asked where to get them from multiple people's Very smart, well done.

Good book but seal was broken
Particularly in the time of Covid, I didn't appreciate that the seal of the book was broken despite buying a new book.

Great way to focus on some basic colors.
Four small fold-out booklets feature the colors red, blue, green and yellow. Printed on both sides the foldouts picture the work of some well known artists. There's no text here but you really don't need one - let the pictures do the talking! I'd use this with a child at least 14 months old so the fold -out isn't a problem in terms of getting it fully extended. You may have to assist the child at first but once she gets the idea let her handle the little booklets.I'm giving this to my granddaughter for Christmas and I hope it is a series of booklets she loves for years to come. I even enjoy looking at it!Book provided by publisher.
