Pioneer DMH-1500NEX Digital Media Receiver with 7" WVGA Display, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, Built in Bluetooth

I installed this in my daughter’s 2005 focus and her speakers came alive. The sound quality blows the stock radio away and it’s loud. She loves the hands free CarPlay and says it’s flawless. I love that she’s driving safer that looking at her phone. Installation was very simple using a plug and play. Screen looks good, touch works good, fit is good, sound is great. We’re both incredibly happy and the price is incredibly fair.

This deck is awesome! As someone who has been driving a 2001 Camry with a factory stereo for the last several years, I am extremely satisfied with this purchase. I paired it with some new front door and rear deck speakers on budget and it all sounds fantastic. The microphone works great for bluetooth phone calls and the Android Auto connection has been great. It is quick and easy to change up music, access maps, and even ask questions with the Google assistant while driving safely. I don't use the video abilities often, but the quality is good, whereas the glare is bad. If you are planning on installing yourself, make sure you know how to maneuver your way around the interior of your vehicle. You will have to run the microphone wire somewhere convenient and you will have to run a wire to your E-brake (or a toggle switch of some kind). Other than that, it is pretty easy to install. I love it!

What a great overall unit. Easy to install with the proper wiring harness as well as a great fit. (Do your measurements cause you may need to buy surrounds to fill the gaps in dash fitment.) The look is great and sounds great as well. The tunable EQ is great for fine tuning it to your taste. Worth every penny.

Installed in a 2001 Toyota Tundra with integrated amp, so using the low amp outputs on the head unit and sound is far better than the Dual head unit it replaced, which wasn’t very old by the way.I have a backup camera hooked up and functioning great, operating in PAL mode which this unit accepts. (Actually my reason for replacing the previous Dual unit, as the backup camera and Carplay functions didn’t work on it.)Apple Carplay works perfect and doesn’t lag even as bad as some brand new vehicles I’ve experienced. (I’m a former Toyota dealer tech.) The connection and then usage is seamless.As of this writing I haven’t installed the microphone that was included with the unit but if I do install it I will update my review with it’s quality.Like others mentioned, the menus interface is clunky and poorly thought out, meaning navigating it is not very intuitive at all. That said, everything works good on it and the quality/cost makes the clunky interface more than manageable to me personally.

The clarity of the radio screen is very good. Except though when you play something through AV mode and when you are in apple car play screen. The areas that should be a dark shade on those screens or when playing movies, like black for instance, is milky and not very sharp. Transfer back to a factory screen like the primary menus and it looks great! Despite messing with all of the color change/screen options, it just does not look crisp. However, the menu's are easily navigated. Touch screen is responsive. Overall, very happy with the product.

Wow! I used this to replace the Shaker 500 in my mustang. While the original wasn't terrible, this is a huge improvement in terms of sounds quality. The highs are sharper and the lows cleaner. Plus, the added functionality of carplay and Android Auto makes this stereo a no-brainer. If you're on the fence, just pull the trigger. You'll be glad you did.

sounds beautiful, Works beautiful ONLY issue so far is the delay from changing songs.

Everything works great and looks clean!! Definitely happy with my purchase. I replaced the stock radio of my 2009 Honda CRV and got it to work with my steering wheel controls and backup camera. The android auto feature is such a life saver.
