I planned on using this for a waistband on jeans. It's very stretchy, and I'm not sure how to measure so my pants don't fall down. Suggestions?

I don't know about waistband for pants. I used what I bought for a jacket I made for my husband. Turned out beautiful and ribbing was just right.
