A HUGE hit! Perfect for your busy one year old!
I have a BUSY one year old little boy and was looking for something to keep him entertained for longer than 2 minutes, which is a challenge these days! He loves to fill, dump, and stack but the stacking cups he had were hard to stack and didn't fill to his satisfaction either. He either got bored or frustrated within the first 2 minutes of playing with them. Enter M&D Alphabet Nesting and Stacking Blocks! These are the perfect stacking block! They are made from a strong, durable cardboard with a wipeable surface and are so colorful with pictures, numbers and letters on each block. The variety of sizes is perfect for a little guy (or gal) who enjoys filling, dumping and stacking. They stack to about 3 feet high which is a big thrill for a little one and they fit inside each other too, adding to the fun! And they don't take up a lot of room in the toy box. We couldn't be happier with these! I can see them NOT lasting more than a year with a brother who likes to sit on them, climb on them and fill them with water but for the price, we'll just get another set!

Perfect for my 15 month old
This is the first toy that frees me for long periods of time. We began playing together with it at 12 months; now at 15 months, it grabs her attention like no other stacking/nesting toy. * It is made of sturdy cardboard, not recommended for children who chew or put toys in their mouth * Stacks well, baby is able to place smaller boxes on the tower * It is fabulous for nesting, which is easier than stacking and requires less dexterity, yet helps develop spatial skills * The paper laminate on the boxes may require a bit of glue treatment; my kid pulled at the edge of the paper and lifted the paper off a box, I quickly fixed it * Does not make a loud sound when the boxes are thrown around the room Not for rough play, but perfect for playing on the floor or a low table. Frees me to do work that requires my attention.

Learning on so many levels!
What a great learning tool for my three-year-old granddaughter! There are so many different ways to play with these. We play peekaboo baby block, trying to find the smallest block underneath the bigger blocks. This is her favorite! Of course there is nesting and stacking in various ways. The blocks have the alphabet with animal pictures to help associate the sound of the letter. These are great for the price. Every once in a while she will try to sit or stand on one, which would break it. Stacking the blocks largest to smallest, on their side is a little unstable. It is best that they be stacked top to bottom. If I purchased another set of nesting blocks I would probably purchase the wooden ones. We love playing with these together though.

Must buy for your littles
My baby loves this. Came a little creased at the edges but otherwise good.

Great fun
The boxes are made of cardboard and have surprisingly held up well for a few months of rough play. It’s has become my toddler’s favorite new toy.

Good Toddler Toy - Wish it was a little more sturdy
UPDATE: the largest blocked ripped up the side and on another block the top (star and square design) has completely lifted off the block. I’ve dropped this to one star because the quality really is lacking. My son got this for Christmas exactly 2 weeks ago today. Pros: He really enjoys playing with this toy and stacking the blocks. I do think there’s a good educational value to the toy with the alphabet and the different animals for each letter. It’s also not a heavy toy. It’s easy for him to carry around the house. Cons: I do think there needs to be some improvement in the quality. The blocks are a bit flimsy and I could see them being easily damaged. The top of each block has a sort of star with squared around it design. It is not properly aligned on every block and due to that it’s not properly glued down. So a good number of the blocks have the top part already starting to peel off along the edges (will attach pictures). Most toddlers are very curious. Once they see something that they can kind of pick at and peel they will do so. As of now, none of them have gotten ripped but I can see this possibly happening. As an example, my mother-in-law has a toy similar to this. She’s had it since around 1995. The blocks are made from a very similar material, however it’s thicker thus makes for a sturdier block. All in all, I think Melissa & Doug has a good lineup of toys. This one just needs a little more work when it comes to quality and sturdiness.

Cute but not the best quality
I wouldn’t recommend purchasing this set if your toddler is still teething and likes to chewy on everything. Super cute but not the best quality. Stacking makes it easy to store.

Bad quality
Really bad quality. Received the item a while back and its already peeling off. Not at all worth the price

Beautifully designed
Beautifully designed and illustrated. It is made of cardboard with plastic covering. It’s a lovely item but can be damaged as it’s not sturdy enough if sat or rolled on by baby.

simpatico
Molto bello, avrei preferito che fosse in italiano ma non l'ho trovato, comunque ha il doppio scopo di gioco, fare la torre e farla cadere va bene anche per bimbi piccoli, per i più grandi ci sono animali e alfabeto..ha bei colori
