STANLEY0-69-833 Riveter MR 33

Worst hand tool I own - it works but frustrates me every time, - it also need a lot of effort even for the smallest size. I used it for riveting 20GA steel plate.It is awkward, annoying and painful to use - buy something else.It has three stem sizes for pop rivets. This is not a one handed tool - but it needs to be. Once the (smallest) rivet is inserted the beginning of the yellow handles are 4.5" wide, the bottom of the yellow handles are 6.25" wide. Unless you have huge hands you will need to use two hands to get it started - else lose all leverage on the black part of the handles (Why?). for long rivets you need 2 pulls - the handles don't auto release - the spring isn't strong enough (why?) so you again need 2 hands to release the rivet shank. The clip to hold the handles together keeps getting in the way during use too (why?) - it can even pinch your hand/body. Get a riveting tool that is designed by someone with an idea: Ratcheting reachable handles and true auto shank release. This isn't it!

Had a draper rivet gun before which failed after several uses. This Stanley one does exactly what is needed and is quite robust
