My boyfriend loves these truffles. They are some of his favorites. So, when I came across this variety box of 100 for $29.99, I had to get them for him. I got this idea to buy him a [popular show] mug and stuff it full of his favorite truffles for Valentine's Day.The weather was sunny and 65 degrees when the package arrived (two day Prime shipping). Upon receiving the package (it was part of a bigger box full of Valentine's goodies I purchased), the truffle box was wrapped in blue plastic. I love bulk chocolates, so of course, I began to drool as soon as I picked this big ole box up into my greedy little hands. Did the boyfriend *really* need these truffles? I began to playfully ponder whether to give some away or keep them all to myself.In the end, I decided to share. After all, sharing is caring, or whatever.The box itself is a decent size, as you can see in the attached photos. The box is not necessarily fancy enough to hand someone as a gift 'as is' but it also wasn't the worst design I've ever seen. Definitely presentable, nonetheless.The words 'Crème Confections' along with a red bow were printed on the box as a simple but cute design. When I opened the box, I immediately noticed there was a smear of chocolate on the underside of the lid flap. I worried that somehow these chocolates managed to melt in transit and my plan to gift these truffles had been ruined. I sifted through the top layer and could not find the leaky culprit so I dumped the entire box out onto my sofa. Then, I began to organize each truffle by color to get a good idea of what flavors I received and how many of each kind there were.Forgive me if I get a flavor or two wrong, as I am trying to go by an online chart based on color of wrapper (most of the chocolates do not say what flavor they are .. or maybe I just need stronger reading glasses). Your shipment will probably be a little different than mine but this is what I received ..* 33 ct. Milk Chocolate* 17 ct. Dark Chocolate* 17 ct. Extra Dark 60%* 12 ct. White Chocolate* 5 ct. Sea Salt w/Milk Chocolate Shell* 5 ct. Coconut w/Milk Chocolate Shell* 5 ct. Caramel w/Milk Chocolate Shell* 5 ct. Fudge Swirl w/Milk Chocolate ShellI received 99 total number of truffles. That is one short of what I paid for. No real complaints here about that, but I will say, if they short everyone out of one or two truffles per order then you would be surprised just how many that will add up to over time for the company to profit from. I am choosing to think this was just an accident on their part and not some grand scheme to screw the consumer over.Out of the 99 truffles, only one was damaged, a milk chocolate truffle. The inner truffle had melted down to a liquid and was leaking onto the inside of the box but it did not really mess up any other truffles. So technically, I guess you could say that I lost out on two truffles (I attached a few photos of the melted truffles). I then proceeded to put all of the other truffles back into the box and temporarily chilled them in the refrigerator in case any of them had liquid centers unbeknownst to me during my inspection.Overall, I am highly pleased with my order and will definitely buy again. The boyfriend loved them. I spotted him popping a few in his mouth throughout our extended Valentine's weekend together. Before he left my home to go back to his place, I restocked his mug with more truffles, and scattered some around in the mug box as bonus treats. It definitely helped to make his gift all the more special. And tasty!

I love these truffles. I really wanted the chance to try more flavors and be able to chare them as gifts. That's where I was disappointed in this purchase. There were only 3 specialty flavors in my box. Each of those flavors only came with 5 truffles. (See photo for portion reference). Still, these are quality truffles. I recommend buying directly from their website if you don't mind the shipping time. You can actually build your own mix for the same price. I'll be doing that next time.On a positive note, the box was shipped with a cooling layer and four icepacks! No melting there.

After reading some of the reviews I was a little apprehensive about ordering these. I took a chance and bought them anyway and was glad I did! The candies were perfect and the wrappings are jewel-toned so they were especially nice for Easter. I absolutely loved the chocolate and sea salt ones! I want to buy more but am afraid I will eat them all! They are delicious x 10 !!

When I received these, I thought they tasted a little bit "off". The chocolate seems like lower quality than typical Lindt Lindor truffles, almost "chalkier" than normal. They also tasted like they were very old, which could also explain the difference in taste. I purchased another large box (250ct) from Lindt directly via their website and there is a definitely a difference in quality. I also noticed that one of the flavors was wrong, so between that and the flavor being off, it almost appears that these could be knock-offs of the actual chocolate. They tasted "okay", but not nearly what I'd usually expect from Lindt.

Definitely do not buy at all let alone as a gift. No ice pack so many were melted. Most were old Christmas flavors. Ones I buy from the grocery store are shiny chocolate and taste fresh. These have a cloudy white hue and taste old and all taste the same because there is so many peppermint ones in the box. The few that aren't melted that it

I bought this hoping for a selection that you can't get in a bag at Wal-Mart because my daughter likes to try new ones. They were almost all standard milk, dark, extra dark and a few white chocolate, with a scant few others peppered in. There were an abundance of a variety I assume was left over from Christmas called gingerbread that everyone spits out. They do taste strange, and I am accustomed to ginger. All in all I would have returned it if I could.

I read all of the reviews before purchasing. The negative reviews I found to be lacking. Negatives because of the variety of flavors? Really? Perhaps those reviewers should have ordered specific flavors instead of the “variety pack.” My truffles were delicious in addition to there being several different flavors. I did not bother to actually count the individual pieces like some people did - those people need to get a life! I am very pleased with my purchase.

I LOVE these truffles. I'm always looking for a deal on them. I was extremely impressed with my order. I didn't take a specific inventory, but I know I got at least 7 flavors....I think 8. I have actually purchased this type of box from a different vendor before. While I also gave them a favorable review next time I will purchase again from this vendor. Not only did I prefer the Box that this was shipped in which where I live is important (AZ), but I also found this to have way more variety.
