I got this Generic 7w Gx53 30pcs 5050smd LED puck light to replace the 9 Watt Feit fluorescent puck lights that were originally purchased in 2011 at Lowes and are now apparently almost extinct and expensive if you can find them. And you don't have to buy the whole fixture to get the light.The old fluorescent puck lights were a good solution at the time but got hot and burned out in a little over a year.Bottom line it, these LEDs work great and fit right into the original sockets. It seems brighter and whiter. ... I think these LEDs will last longer and not get so hot. Time will tell how long they will last. I will buy more..

These do not require a special transformer, they install on regular house wiring. I used them to replace under cabinet puck lights, mood lights that were not very bright. These are very bright, bright enough to be task lights at 5 watt, 7 watt are available. There are two spots where I would prefer a lower light level but the other 5 spots are very helpful, if there are lower watt bulbs please let me know. Changing bulbs is so fast and easy it came as a surprise compared to changing a G8 bulb in a puck light. I am very happy with this product.

These puck LEDS provide good light to a decent radius around them. I just installed and work perfectly for what we need and couldn't be easier to install. One pic is with just puck lights on and one with other kitchen lights on for a little perspective. Excuse the mess, it's been a busy week.

Like others who posted on this product, I, too, purchased a set of downlights from Lowes that utilized the ridiculously convoluted CFL's. They are indeed short lasting and when they fail, they actually melt / distort the plastic lense covers. I couldn't wait to replace them all. I was very pleased to find this LED alternative.Good news: they are instantly bright, their color is consistent and reasonably warm and -- because they're LED's -- I'm hopeful they'll burn much cooler and last a long time. Bad news: they don't fit exactly into the fixture. The problem: the lense of the Bonlux lamps creates a slightly raised lip around their circumference. Because my lights are recessed in cutout holes within the cabinet, if I pressed too hard to make the two brass conductors engage, the fixture would just pop up through the hole. This is just enough to make the installation of the lamps impossible. My solution: I used a hacksaw and sawed off the lip around the entire circumference -- it was just a sliver. It was all I needed. They installed without a problem.If your fixtures are surface mounted, I suspect this may not be a problem as you'll be able to press very hard to make the conductors seat into the receiver slots. Fit perfectly, not sure what other posts were talking about regarding something bent in shipping. Each puck was packed in an individual box within the box that held the 3 pack. Actually, I didn't read the fine print I guess, I ordered 3 boxes so I got 9 lights-should outlast the house! Anyway, easy to put in and give great light. I am replacing a CFL and was wondering if would really work. As I said, fits perfectly, firm twist once seated and goes on right away without warm up.

I used them for shadow boxes..Just the right size for the shadow boxes I make..

Thought I had found a good replacement for my undercounter lights. The unit fit right into the base and provided great white light--for only 5 months!!!!!! Not sure how long the remaining unit will work!

I bought these to replace my Utilitech L72053 puck light bulb. These were a lot cheaper and are bright right away so I do not need to wait for the bulb to warm up and get brighter. They perfectly fit the Feit puck lights that were purchased from Lowe's in 2009.
