Mr. Beams MB852 Indoor Wireless Slim LED Light with Motion Sensor Features, White, 2-Pack,Small

I got two of these Mr. Beams lights and they seem to work very well. The stickers to hold them to the cabinets are extremely sticky and have been holding the lights up for over a month now.They also came with some stickers to limit the range of the motion sensors, but I took them off. Even with the motion sensor wide open, I wish it was a bit more sensitive (i.e. I wish that putting an object on the counter would turn the light on), though they suggest turning the light around so the motion sensor faces the other way to get more sensitivity, so I may try that in the future.The lights are very bright and have been working on the original set of batteries since I installed them Feb 27, 2013.The only downside I have noticed is that one light turns on randomly (maybe once or twice a day?). Probably faulty and it will probably run the batteries down a little quicker, but it's not enough of an annoyance to bother getting a replacement by my standards. Overall they are great lights and I will definitely order more for the other side of my kitchen.Update 5/14/13: The malfunctioning light I mentioned in my review just got annoying after a while, so I contacted the seller to tell them about the light and they sent me a replacement light, no questions asked. I received it one day later. Fantastic service!

I was tired of tapping my hardwired under-cabinet lights with wet or messy hands while cooking, baking, or preparing any kind of food over my counters. Even more annoying the under cabinet lights built with my kitchen have three settings. The first tap is very dim - I cant see anything so I have to tap the lights again for the bright setting, but if I accidentally tapped to fast they lights would go to off (setting #3). They were nice at first but the appeal quickly wore off because I was unhappy with the functionality. Plus I think they are halogen, not LED.The options in the wireless under cabinet lighting arena are fairly limited. Most of the lights you have to tap, click, or wave your hands right under the light to again be disappointed with the light output. I tried a few including the hockey puck Dragon Light by Sylvania, They weren't for me so they were returned to Stop and Shop.I have a few Mr Beams lights for the backyard so naturally I was curious as to how these would perform, WOW. I can see and I have light exactly when I need it without having to touch anything, make a mess, or shake hands with the invisible man under my cabinets. When you approach the counter or even the middle of your kitchen the lights will turn on after sensing your motion. I can walk up to the sink to wash my hands or do the dishes and I don't have to turn any lights on. I can use the cutting board and have enough light to prepare food. These lights are small but they pack a serious punch in the light department.The other part I thoroughly enjoy are their sleek look. I had visitors over last night and they asked "Where did you get those!?!" - extra cool points for me. They have a nice wow factor.I could see how these might also be useful in workshops, laundry rooms, in the pantry, under a desk, in drawers....the list could go on and on they are very thin and can fit nearly anywhere.Amazon has a picture of one light next to and iphone, the length is almost identical to an iphone. I would say the height is about the size of one iphone on top of another, so pretty thin. They don't look bulky or anything. That should give you roughly an idea of the look before you buy.There are two different ways you can mount these, I chose the double sided tape. The tape is very strong I can practically hang from the ceiling myself with it. They aren't going anywhere.Overall I give this one an A+. You wont be disappointed!

I've bought these lights 5 times over the last 4 years. I keep finding more uses for them. I put one over the side door so I could see to insert the door key when I come home at night. I have them under my kitchen cabinets. I have them in my garage so I don't have to turn on the big light. These lights are bright and are very durable. They do run on batteries but they are not very draining.So I love these lights, But when I went to buy them again (just 2 weeks after the last purchase), they had raised the price by over 35%. I didn't and won't buy at this new price. I have other choices.

The media could not be loaded.  I bought the Mr Beams MB852 recently and used it in my closet . It was great to use. I had to use a two sided self adhesive to stick it on the wall in my closet. Would have preferred the vendor to provide that.Pros :1) Easy to setup.2) The light is good enough to view the things in the closet or cabinets3) The light doesn't glow in day light and saves the battery.Cons:1) The self adhesive given by manufacturer doesn't help much. It says to use screws but a two sided self adhesive would be great.2) The user manual given is generalized and doesn't exactly suit the product. Would expect a more specific manual for the product.3) I guess it took time for the device to settle down as for the first few times I opened the closet slowly, the device didn't glow. Not sure the reason for that.Overall it was working quite well after few attempts. I will upload the videos shortly .

I bought 1 set (2-pack) of these to see if my wife would like them. We needed 4.I got the first two and installed them easily and they worked great. My wife loved them, so I bought another set. A week or so after I installed the second set, the first set stayed on constant. I replaced the batteries and re-installed them, but they stayed on again until the fresh batteries were dead.Approximately 2 weeks later the second set failed also. 1 by 1 they failed. They now sit in the garage awaiting me to take them apart to attempt a fix. I wouldn't buy these again. I am actually not ever buying anything that says Mr. Beams on it. They are junk.I made sure that there was nothing around the kitchen that could cause these to stay on. Meaning that there was nothing warm or hot near these which would set them off.Buyer beware!!!

Ideal for cabinates

I have a couple of Mr.Beams' products and am very happy with their operation. These little chaps in particular are very useful.I have one of them underneath the porch outside by the front door. Great for finding the lock in the dark, spreads a good even light and batteries have lasted well thus far (4 months and still going strong).I'd buy again.Update: April 2015. Still works very well. Haven't needed to change the batteries. Really pleased

Just the right size for use in a small shed. Brilliant light. Small enough to set in a corner of the shed and bright enough a night time to light up the inside of the shed. Batteries seem to las for some time and the sensor is just a little slow when entering the shed. I bought 2 . and they are both of great use in the 2 sheds I have.

Habe die beiden Leuchten bei mir unter den Küchenschränken angebracht, da mir dort immer eine Beleuchtung fehlte. Durch den Bewegungssensor, habe ich das Licht dann, wenn ich es brauche. Bei der normalen Beleuchtung habe ich mir immer selber im Licht gestanden.Ich kann die Leuchten wärmstens empfehlen, auch für andere Bereiche wo man mal etwas direkteres Licht braucht ohne, dass man großartig Kabel verlegen will.Habe die auch schon freunden weiter empfohlen.
