Absolute best tool for bending PVC pipe
This is absolute best product for bending PVC pipe. More of an artist's tool than anything, but could be used for many applications. A bit expensive, yes, and it took me a while to justify the cost, but I finally did and have no regrets. Even comes with a free pair of thick gloves, timer and 2 bend stations. Once preheated, it only takes a few minutes and you can bend the PVC any ole way. Very simple to use.

way overpriced
machine does exactly what you would expect...softens the pvc pipe beautifully....very happy with the results...the only beef I have is that it is so overpriced and the reason for that is no competition.....but its well built and hopefully will last a long time.....I do think its is the best system out there for bending pvc tube....heres a tip....to keep the integrity of the pipe ends ..slip on a bell end from the pipe extras..you know the wider end of one side for the purpose of connecting one 20 ft to another for a long run...gloves that come work well but the fibreglass split tube used to retain heat is a real nuisance so unless your bending pipe in the winter outside you dont really need it...take a wee bit longer to heat but so much more convenient.....there is no room to put the thermometer if using 1/2 inch #40 pvc but its really easy to know when its ready...takes only a few tries then you can time it or even just by feel....i had zero problems and did not even need practice run....went directly into production.....a few more tips...you need to secure the transformer end..trust me....and if you dont have a metal table to work on..you can do what I did and made ceramic 6 foot long board with metal angles along the sides...keeps the snake tamed...I used 1 foot square ceramic tiles end to end...no glue necessary as the angle irons keeps them in check....another tip...if you make the hot plate make it a foot longer then the stated length of the snake...I bought a 6 foot snake and made a 6 foot board...mistake...make it a foot longer then the snake....
