Brightech Grayson Arc LED Floor Lamp - Modern Office & Living Room Standing Lamp with Adjustable Arm - Industrial Style for Bedroom Reading - Bronze

This is the second Brightech lamp that I have purchased. My first lamp was the Brightech Jacob lamp, which was an exceptional value. I have included pictures of both the Jacob (the brass finished "tree" lamp, as well as my new Grayson lamp. Both are well made and handsome. If you are looking for mid-century style lamps, Brightech offers very affordable solutions which offer high quality, economical lamps.As with my other purchase, the Grayson comes very well packed and the assembly could not be easier. All of the pieces are very well machined and screw together easily. The shade is very cleverly designed, similar to some Ikea shades and also assembles very easily, and once put together is quite nice. I did have to go back and double check the grippers that hold the shade fabric to the frame pieces, but once I had secured all the grippers the shade is perfect.If I have any complaint, it is that I should have paid more attention to the size specifications. This is a big lamp, and I was anticipating a somewhat smaller lamp. However I am getting used to the size of the lamp, and I am completely satisfied in every other aspect.If you are looking for a lighting solution and are also like myself on a budget, I highly recommend Brightech's product line. And no, I am not being compensated for this review.

The number of fake positive reviews on this item created hesitation, but after four weeks of shopping floor lamps, I kept coming back to this one. Pulled the trigger (bought 2) and the results have been much better than expected.It was well-packaged, had simple instructions, and went together without much challenge. With one minor exception: the shade is coiled in the opposite direction of how it goes on the lamp. The manufacturer likely does this to protect the outer material, which does look quite nice, once in place. The solution was to carefully uncoil it and coax it to start coiling the right direction. But that left the ends where they connect together via velcro trying to pull away from each other. The good news is the ends do stay in place.PROS:Long cord with simple toe switch for on/offClean, stylish appearanceEasy to assemble with simple instructionsAdjustable height and one of the tallest floor lamps available in this style.CONS:Simple assembly but be careful to make sure the power wire feeds properly, it can bunch up if you don't watch it.The shade, as packaged, comes coiled the opposite way to how it needs to be when assembled.The bulbs that come with it are not indicated as dimmable.This is a very nice light source for my living room. The only reason I am not giving it a full 5 stars is due to all the false positive reviews that caused me such unnecessary hesitation. The price I paid was "fair", not a bargain. And that reverse-coiled shade was a small hassle. Otherwise, very happy and do recommend this item if you like how it looks in pictures.

Great modern lamp for any room. The adjustability of the arm is perfect and I especially love the on/off floor button. Makes for turning lights on and off very easy when in harder to reach spots!

Fairly easy to assemble.Be careful not to strip the outer casing of the plug cord when pulling/threading it out of the lamp base bottom. Turn base on its side and gently pull straight.I needed something to give height to the room and flow with the high ceiling. This lamp works perfectly.The base is very heavy and balances well if all the parts are screwed together tightly.

Very useful use ss an additional light fixture in my living room

This lamp is very well constructed, has easy instructions, is packaged securely, and was a very good price. Its base is weighted to provide excellent stability, and the adjustable arm is also weighted to allow easy adjustment. I was very pleasantly surprised by the shade - the pictures don't do it justice and I had expected to replace it - but I love it. One of my top purchases ever. I'm off to buy another.

My son needed more light over his large desk. This assembled easily, looks great, and provides all the light he needs for doing his homework. I'd buy it again with no reservations.

Before I bought it I read the comments starting with the 1 star.  People had trouble with the lamp shade, I thought it was easy to put together and looks great (not dented like some you buy already put together).  Some people thought it wanted to fall over or was unbalanced, I don't see how this can happen because the base is big and heavy and the top portion is fairly light.  Maybe they got an earlier version with a different base.  Some people seem to have problems with the switch, mine works although I connected it to a smart plug so I won't use the switch.  The hardest part was the assembly and understanding how you adjust the cord as you go.  I actually got one complement on the Lamp and they asked me where I got it.  I think it is a nice lamp and I have no problems with it.  I paid much more for lamps and this one is nice.

El tubo que conecta a la pantalla con el tubo de soporte no quedo exactamente igual a la foto. Pero en general bien.

Excelente diseño y calidad de la lámpara. Me encanto!
