Love this lightweight vacuum
Always been a fan of dirt devil and still have the handheld with a stick from 2015. However, this new dirt devil is a game changer. I wanted lightweight and this is perfect. I wanted easy to maneuver and this is perfect. I wanted the vacuum cover to get under furniture, and this has it. I don’t even need to move furniture for this vacuum to get around or under- it can get anywhere. I’m thrilled! The cord is shorter than I would have liked but it makes sense because the vacuum is smaller and I have outlets in every room. The attachment works great and it’s not super loud, compared to a regular vacuum. Great on carpet and floors. Durable so far, my last one has worked for 10 years. GAME changer. So happy. Thank you Dirt devil!!

Great for quick everyday maintenance
I’ve had this little vacuum for over 5 years and I love it. The longevity is great if you upkeep it and replace the filter every few months. It works on my hard-wood floors, area rugs, and kitchen tile. It doesn’t pick up *everything* so I wouldn’t recommend it as your only source of sweeping/vacuuming but it’s fantastic for quick upkeep. It’ll easily pick up dirt, cat hair, scattered litter, etc. It’s definitely easier than running a broom through the whole house everyday. The small size is also great for getting into the tighter spaces. I wish the cord was a little bit longer but I digress. Great buy for sure, whether you have a big house, apartment, or even a small dorm room.

Mediocre vacuum at a good cost
The Dirt Devil Vibe 3-in-1 Stick Vacuum is a lightweight and budget-friendly option ideal for small spaces and quick cleanups. Its 3-in-1 design allows you to easily switch between a stick vacuum and a handheld unit, making it versatile for both floors and above-floor cleaning. Pros: Lightweight and easy to maneuver (around 3.4 lbs) Convenient handheld conversion for stairs, cars, and furniture On/off brushroll for switching between hard floors and low-pile carpet Inexpensive and space-saving Cons: Suction power is limited, especially on carpet or pet hair Small dirt cup requires frequent emptying Build quality feels flimsy; durability may be an issue over time Overall: Great for light, occasional cleaning on hard surfaces, but not suited for deep cleaning or large homes or thick carpets. An ok starter or secondary vacuum if you manage expectations.

Is this a joke? Do NOT Buy
This has to be one of the worst vacuum cleaners on the planet. How this has ratings higher than 1 or 2 stars is beyond me. Here are just some of the many flaws: 1. These types of vacuums are not intended to replace a full-size vacuum - it is for quick cleanups on hard surfaces or very low pile rugs. I fully understand this is basically a "dust buster" with a handle. Even so, the suction on this thing is pathetic. It has no power unless you have the roller brush on. I bought this because I wanted the option to turn the brush on or off. Forget that...if you don't have the brush on, it will not pick up even a small scrap of paper. When the roller brush is on it works somewhat better however there is a very narrow path where it sweeps. You cannot get close enough to pick up anything in a corner or along a wall because the roller is too far away from the sides and front. This the weakest stick vacuum I have ever used. 2. The cord is ridiculously short. You cannot even vacuum an average-sized room without switching outlets. This is super annoying - I have never seen such a short cord on a vacuum cleaner. I have to use an extension cord just to vacuum my stairs because it will not reach to the top. 3. The plastic clip that holds the cannister in place is too weak to hold and it can randomly pop off while you are using it. It also blows dust out around the top of the cannister. I have a bungee cord wrapped around the cannister to hold it in place. It looks really great. This is mostly because of the way the filter is attached. The cannister is also extremely small so you will need to empty it repeatedly if you vacuum more than one area. If you have pets you will have to clean the filter and the roller brush several times per vacuum as well. 4. The build quality is atrocious. Nothing fits together properly. The entire thing is constructed of cheap, brittle plastic. It's like a child's toy - flimsy plastic clips hold everything together. I put the power brush head on and it immediately fell off. I had to force it to get it to snap together and now I can't remove it because I'm afraid it will break. It doesn't really matter because it is useless without that roller brush anyway. I already mentioned that the cannister doesn't fit properly an literally falls out when you are using it because of the weak clip. The plastic part of the handle nearly snapped when I was trying to assemble it. Don't get me started on the cord wrap. 5. The filter doesn't fit down inside the cannister it sits on top of it so dust blows all around the top because it doesn't fit properly and the weak clip strains to hold it in place. This is why the cannister keeps falling off. I will say the filter is very easy to clean so there is that. 6. The flimsy handle flexes when you are using it. If you remove the handle (held in place by a plastic clip of course) something rattles around inside it. My guess is that is part of the clip has already broken inside the handle. I guess I can add duct tape to hold it in place when it does break which should really make that bungee cord shine. 7. Like most stick vacs, you'll need to clean the cannister, filter and roller brush every time you use it. The cannister and filter are easy to clean (they probably fell off while you were vacuuming anyway) but cleaning the roller brush is a pain. There is a very narrow gap to try to get into to remove any debris, etc. from the roller brush. As you are vacuuming, the suction decreases steadily as debris collects on the roller brush. 8. It won't stand up on it's own. It is supposed to but it only manages to do this about 25% of the time. The rest of the time it just falls over. This is especially irritating because you have to leave it to switch outlets and then it falls over and the cannister probably popped off as it hit the floor, spilling dirt everywhere. As you can see, I am no fan of this vacuum. It is a flimsy poorly-designed piece of junk. Dirt Devil should be embarrassed by this product. I have a full sized vac so I bought this for light vacuuming but it is a complete failure. If you still want to purchase it, please do not pay full price - I got it for around $30 and it isn't worth that. I regret buying this and you will too. I would never recommend this vacuum to anyone.

Excellent steal for a great cleaner!
I purchased this after the Shark Navigator we have had for three years finally decided to seize up and start blowing smoke. I've attempted contact with the manufacturer for the duration of the three years of ownership with no contact back, EVER. The brush would work at its leisure and this was frustrating with three small children making messes, but I refused to replace it because of how much it cost until it wouldn't work at all. That day FINALLY arrived last week, one month after we moved into a house with mostly hard floors and carpet only in the bedrooms. I initially considered going with another full sized vacuum but realized that would be a bit silly considering the bulk of our floors are hard, so this led me to looking into stick vacuums. My first consideration was the Monster by QVC, because I recalled hearing great things about it a few years back. I went to their site and noticed some very dismal reviews, in fact the majority were not good. So I googled "best stick vacuums" and one thing led to another and I ended up here on Amazon reading about this little guy. Reviews were primarily good and it was in the top 5 list of a review site I found so I bit. We needed a cleaner ASAP, and this seemed to fit the bill and prime would get it to me fast and for FREE. I won't lie, I had reservations about how it would do on the actual carpeting and rugs, but much to my surprise.... It blew the shark out of the water! The amount of dust, hair, and pet hair this thing picked up was INSANE. I had to empty it three times in one full pass of the house. This brings us to the only two downsides of the thing I can think of after the brief amount of time I've had it. The container is small, BUT not so small that it's annoying its just that we are a family of five and have a sheddy dog and a kitten to boot. We clearly are a hairy lot, and even with cleaning daily to keep things clean to my almost obsessive compulsive standards even the shark needed emptied weekly and cleaned monthly. The other downside is that the cord is shorter than I am accustomed, however, this can be remedied either with an extension cord or simply swapping outlets. Def not a five star deal breaker in my opinion since it cleans so well! One thing I adore about this thing at this time is how I can go literally from carpet, to hard floor, to rug without a second thought. Totally a steal for the price provided it holds up!

I liked it so much I wrote a review
This vacuum cleaner is exactly perfect for me. Works on my persian rug as well as berber carpet and tile. Gets pet hair out of medium pile carpet and is incredibly small and perfectly powerful. The dustbuster part is easy to empty, and the pieces go together really really easily. Obviously don't buy it to vacuum a three story office building or anything, but that's like buying a catfish and being angry it doesn't wash your windows right. Be real with your expectations, fool. Some unexpected but convenient design features: the assembled vacuum is angled and weighted to stand up on its own with no moving parts or release buttons. I don't know why, I just like this. The cord is the right length whether you wrap it left or right to never have the plug-in land on a plastic piece (in my opinion the downfall of appliance cords everywhere). The on/off switch has three settings: off, dustbuster, and rolly brush. That way when just using the dustbuster it's not diverting power unnecessarily. The container can be emptied without disassembling at all. It seems like it won't work but it does, and that makes me happy. The dustbuster attachment has a groove to click onto the handle. Seriously, this feature alone is worth the purchase, I have not lost that stupid thing even once because of that snappy groove. Finally, all the buttons to assemble the thing are kind of quick release, and I can put it together completely one-handed. I have a few animals, and without too much detail, they tend to leave sunflower seeds everywhere. This thing is like a sunflower shell murderer. I don't think anyone else has that specific issue as well, but if you do this is the vacuum for you.

Wears out too quickly
UPDATE After almost 2 years of very lightweight use, we are disappointed, it worked fine when it was new, but we did not like that you have to carefully clean it after each use because the filter inside the canister is easy to clog. Worse is the fact that you have to use a scissors to cut the hair off the roller each time otherwose the roller will not spin at all and you lose 75% of it cleaning power. More expensive units have powered brushes which makes a gigantic difference, these low cost units are really only good for very light cleanups, light dust or very light dry dirt. Once there is too much hair that wraps around the roller (very easy to do if you have anyone in the household has any hair at all on their body then its useless and picks up almost nothing because the roller is not turning. The roller also slows down due to age so after two years of light duty (we only use it once our twice a month because we have a large very powerful unit as well) so it has a short lifespan. It does have a thick rubber strip that rubs against the carpet and acts like a carpet rake, this does help move the dust/dirt but does not help life the dirt into the container. We are surprised that after 2 years of extremely light duty the roller now doesn't spin despite toe much we carefully clean it. Yes, you have to clean it by hand every time you use it, which is definitely not desirable because it is intended for quick pickups so having to them clean it means that its not quick at all. Its great that it is AC powered and NOT battery powered because the fan spins at full power all the time, the power cord is long enough that I can reach two rooms from one outlet which is convenient and it appears to be more powerful than the battery powered model we previous had from tis company. Not recommended. Original review We were shocked at how tiny the box was when it arrived. Its certainly is slimmer and literally only half the weight of our previous top-of-the line battery operated Dirt Devil, yet this slim unit feels more powerful and because we plug it into the wall, it retains full cleaning power all the time and never needs to be recharged. Its an excellent cleaner, we ran over the same carpet that we just cleaned and this unit pulled up so much dirt and hair that it makes the battery operated units look useless. It's lightweight so its a joy to grab for quick pickup jobs so we don't have to drag out our huge super powerful full-size vacuum so its small size is a big plus. You can also unsnap the handle and floor sweeper to use it as a handheld unit to clean the sofa, windowsills, car seats, etc. The box it comes in is tiny so obviously you have to assemble it, but its easy. The flow sweeper snaps into the main vacuum, the shaft snaps into the top of the main vacuum, and the grip slides on the shaft, where they supply you with two black Phillips head screws, just insert the screws into the only two holes, tighten with (your own) Phillips head screwdriver, and its all set and ready to use. The 15 foot long power cord is plenty long enough, and because it is AC powered (no battery) it retains full power at all times and it never loses power no matter how long you use it, which is a great relief. Overall we are pleasantly surprised at how small and how powerful this unit really is, it is a great improvement over the previous battery operated Dirt Devils because its so light weight that it actually is much easier to use.
