Amazing Ending to an Amazing Series
This is a mass alert!!!! Drop everything and read this book now!!! Empower is a heart-pounding thrill ride that makes you never want to stop reading. This story picks up two years later, Violet is in London, and has joined with a group of Rogues. But, it's not long before her old life comes calling, and Vi is forced to make the choice of whether to face what she left behind and help her friends, or turn her back on them forever. One of the things that is most noticeable in this book, besides the amazing writing, is the development of the characters. Violet, who has always been strong, grows the most. Violet finally understands that it is okay to be vulnerable, and to let people in. I couldn't help but compare the Violet in this book to the Violet that we were fist introduced to in Embrace. Violet has become this amazing grown woman that underwent an unexpected journey, one of self-discovery and understanding their fullest potential. While Violet is strong and brave, she realizes that she can't simply turn everything off, and be heartless to the world. Because if she stays like that, she will eventually lose herself and those she holds most dear. Lincoln also undergoes a journey of his own. One of accepting that he needs to trust Violet and let her be her powerful, capable self. In a way, throughout the series, he has always held her back because he wanted her to be safe. While this is understandable because he is a Power and her soul mate, he realizes that if he wants to be apart of Violet's life, he needs to relinquish some of his worry over her. Both of these developments with our beloved characters is subtle, but very noticeable by the end. It is in this, that this book is amazing. It takes a special type of author to be able to do this with his/her characters, and Ms. Shirvington proves that she is in the elite of authors with this book. All of our favorites return, along with some new characters that you will quickly love. Steph is stronger than ever, and never backs down. It was great to see her step up in a role that many "humans" would back down from. I loved Gray. He added a nice bit of humor to the book that was needed to lighten things up. And all Griffin fans (and seriously, who isn't a Griffin fan?) can rejoice because he makes an appearance as well. While I do wish he was in a bit more of the book, he didn't actually serve much of a role in this book, and it probably would have felt forced if he were in more of the story. The action in this book is another amazing aspect. It will blow you away with the intricacy and attention to detail that Ms. Shirvington puts into every scene. However, with all this action, there is bound to be some heartbreak. After all, this is war. Some of the deaths are extremely sad, but there is one death in particular that I was absolutely fine with (and once you read this book, you will know exactly who I'm talking about). There are so many twists and turns in this book, but have no worries, because all loose ends are tied up. We find out who Violet's Angel Maker is, what it means to be the "rainbow," and just how powerful Violet actually is. One of the biggest shocks in this book involves a character that is close to all our hearts...Phoenix. And let me tell you now, it's a doozy. The romance is another thing that blew me away. I don't know how any other characters that Ms. Shirvington will write about will compare to the love between Violet and Lincoln, but I can't wait to find out. Their love for each other is so pure, and everything a person wants. It shows that true love can overcome anything. The end of this book will have you crying. I'm warning you now. There's death, love, and a goodbye. Seriously, the entire ending of this book had me first tearing up (when I found out a certain character died), and then crying buckets. However, it provided a very nice sense of closure to the series, and I couldn't have asked for a better ending. At first, I wasn't sure where this story was going to go considering the storyline with Lilith was wrapped up, but the plot in this book was extraordinary. Ms. Shirvington's creativeness and uniqueness for storytelling shone through in this novel, and this book will easily be devoured by fans. I could not put this book down, and you won't be able to either. I can't wait to read anything else that Ms. Shirvington writes because I know it will be amazing. I highly recommend this book to all fans of the series; you won't be disappointed. Happy reading :)20+++++ stars

A series worth your time
I have to say with each book in this series I became more invested and I did not want to put it down. The audio version is wonderful also she has a different tone or accent for each character that is so easy to get lost in the story. I have to admit I did get a little miffed at violet at the end of the third book into the forth with the whole Lincoln situation bc I felt she had made so much progress just to take a step back in her whole evolution as a grown confident woman. Needless to say she worked it all out eventually and in the end we got to meet a whole new set of characters I fell in love with. So It all worked out. I did love Phoenix even when he was bad I so loved him and I wish there was more for him in the end. I would have loved a spin-off for him ! U never really get to see a leading man like him but he felt so complex and I wished more stories had a leading man like him. I felt he should have had more and I would have loved to see him get the life and ending he deserved. Begging the author to do a spin-off with the Phoenix we all loved from the first 3 books π. Totally loved this series and the characters will stay with me for long tome to come.

Loved this series
Violet has been with the Rogues for two years now. She continues to kill and return exiles and likes to take solo actions. She has had no contact with Link since she ran. Only Steph knows where she is. Grey, her rogue friend has her back. She was utterly surprised when Onyx shows up, until she learns that Spencer is missing. She has to return to the Academy. She knows Link had been tracking her, but he suddenly stopped a year ago. She had been sent for by Spencer's partner, with instructions from him. Nothing good could come from this reunion. Phoenix is an Angel now, having been killed by Lilith to save the children. He has been redeemed. Reunions are both sweet and sad. But things will get better.Life has a way of righting the wrongs and this book ends perfectly. I cried when we lost allies. I rejoiced when we took out some of the exiles. I loved the characters and the story. I was sad at the end, but happy as well. It's a fantastic series.Read on my friends

And its a wrap
The final chapter, a great ending to wrap the series up. I absolutely love this series! I will read it over and over. Shirvington captures emotion so well, I can't help but feel connected to the characters. It takes place a couple years after the previous book, where Violet left everyone behind and is on her own. After an unexpected visitor shows up informing her one of her closest friends really needs her she doesn't hesitate to head back and help. Question is, what will be waiting for her when she returns? And can she avoid Lincoln, her soulmate?

Inspiring end to a brilliant series. Jessica Shivington does not disappoint.
I have throughly enjoyed this series and was sad to see it end...but what an ending!Violet's journey has been a long one and I truly felt like I have travelled it with her. In every installment of this series, we see her character grow in strength wihout losing her fiesty personality that we have come to expect and love about her.Glad to see all the orginal characters return along with some new ones that you cant help but endear yourself to. Especially thankful for the return of Phoenix who is just as charming as he always is right to the end. Didnt see the outcome for his character coming. Well written.Lincoln. His is perfect even when he is being a stubborn alpha male.I was pleased with how this series played out and would highly recommend it to anyone that loves action and romance.

I couldn't put it down!
The final book in the Violet Eden Chapters, Empower is an enthralling conclusion to an amazing series.Eden is forced to face her pain and fears in order to save those she loves and do what is right.Jessica Shirvington does the series justice with a heart-wrenching conclusion that won't disappoint readers.I have loved this series since the moment I stumbled upon it and couldn't put down this book until I found out where Violet's (and Lincoln's and Pheonix's) story would end.I look forward to reading it again from the beginning of the series and sharing it with my daughter when she gets a little older :)
