This stuff is the best for sealing fuel fittings.
It doesn't cure, so it'll always stay malleable. It shrugs off fuel contact, so it won't start leaking. It's the best thing I've found for sealing threaded fittings, flanges, etc.

no scraping!
used this Hylomar as stated on my primary gasket on my Hog. the new item installed was trash! dread scraping old gaskets off and cleaning surfaces. especially new gaskets. any way cleaned old surfaces with brake clean. re Hylomared both surfaces. bolted back together (needed the bike NOW!) figured i'd be doing it again soon. NO LEAKS!... Great stuff!
