I first bought these shorts in khaki. I’m female, but I liked the Fit and style. Came to my knees. Loose but Quite neat fitting around ass, which I quite liked.I marked it down to a 4* because I bought another two pairs, but one was slightly bigger fitting and one was slightly smaller fitting than the original. I asked for black and beige but received black and khaki again.I am slightly smaller than a size 14, but the men’s medium are good. I am 5ft6“. For any other females, thinking of buyingOverall, I love them.

True to size, light weight and comfy ideal for lounging around or travelling.

I'm a 33" waist and the medium fits perfectly around the waist and snuggly around my bum, crotch and top of legs. The elasticated waist allows for plenty of expansion after eating a large meal, for example, so no issue there.The problem comes from the fact that the rest of trousers’ poly-cotton, very lightweight material doesn't stretch at all so when you put stuff in the pockets - and being cargo shorts it has 5 of them - then the shorts become tight, rub on your skin and restrict movement.Also, as other reviewers have mentioned - the distance between the top of the shorts and the bottom of the crotch seems overly large, so unless you keep the waist band up by your belly button, the non-stretch material restricts your movement of your legs, especially walking up inclines or stairs.Amazing price, they look good (after removing all the dangling threads) but are spoiled by the cheap, non-stretch poly-cotton fabric and odd cut.

I saw other reviews mention it and should have listened. They fit great around the waist and knee but are so tight around the crotch they feel like they're going to rip anytime i take a large step or heaven forbid climb some stairs. Seems like a bad pattern. They look nice so long as you stand still, but the second you try and move in them the problems are clear. If you're desperate to get them id suggest a few sizes higher than you think you need

For the price, exceptional value. My husband finds them very comfortable, size medium. My son ordered xl for work as L, whilst fitted for every day casual wearing, said the legs/thighs would be a little tight if straddling for work. He is 5ft 10 ins and weighs 13 stone of solid muscle as a physical job and works out.
