I have purchased 2 of these lights from different sellers as well as diffusers for them from Action LED. The diffusers make these cheap lights awesome.The light I purchased from a different seller for about $20 was great. Sturdy, super bright and well built for a cheap made in China knock off of a MagicShine. I decided to try another seller (this one) to get my taillight.This version of the light (purchased for $14 before the price went up form seller iBaste now Geizland?). The build quality was noticeably lower- with mold/machine flashing around the bezel of the light. The light also felt substantially lighter. This might be a plus for some people, but I feel like the light is just not quite as nice as the other light I purchased. I guess you get what you pay for.FWIW it's brilliantly bright and with the red Action LED diffuser no one is missing the tail end of my bike. I will update if the light decides to break or not work.

Please if you like to bike at night you should have this kind of Head Light, but you also need to look for the charger is not coming with.

The light head is excellent quality and very bright for off-road trail night rides. The head mount can be adapted to helmets if you supply your own velcro straps, but the curvature of the mount is intended for a bare forehead, so it is not as secure as a purpose-made helmet mount. The battery pack is unsealed, with flimsy shrink wrap and cardboard(?!) ends. It is worth your while to dip it in plasti-dip prior to use. Price of this unit cannot be beat, so the overall value is Excellent.

WOW!!! This light is so bright; lights up the entire street. It has saved my life quite a few times. The only draw back is if it's close to my Sigma speedometer/cadence computer, it interferes with it.

it even said 1200 lumens on the box! quite disappointing, but I guess you get what you pay for, especially something from china. It did show up a couple weeks early, so I guess that's good. It will be fine on the handlebars, but was hoping to mount on my helmet, which, I will have to find a few mcgyver type tricks to do so. Wouldn't really recommend.And, as a footnote, I recently had the battery go completely dead, meaning that I had to purchase a new battery. The head mount can be used on a helmet, just needs a couple of zip ties. As one positive to this review, other than the price, the light is quite bright compared to another light I purchased which was along the same lines. Your mileage may vary.

Best headlights I have seen for the price! Very powerful! I light up the trails! My riding partners make me go first because it's so bright! I have had other people buy it because it's so good!

works great, but the 3800 is a lot better than 1200, see more lights
