Bright Light, Quiet
I just finished installing this Delta Breeze ITG80LED in our water closet. This unit replaced a 20 year old Broan unit which sounded just short of a Harley Davidson motorcycle. Installation was straight forward. I did have attic access, so I could install from up top. Wiring was no issue and air outlet install was easy. I did use Aluminum tape on the joints at each end of the air vent to ensure a good seal. This thing is quiet and great bright light. Not TOTALLY quiet, but I can still hear the TV in the next room. I had to check with a piece of toilet paper it was working as well as it should, as it was so quiet. I also turned on before putting vent pipe on to ensure proper air flow. The light was bright and on instantly. No one should have second thoughts about buying this as it is great. I did not know bathroom fans could be so quiet with a good light.I also just bought the 80/110 CFM version for in the shower area as we like this one so much.

Excellent fan for a smaller bathroom!
We've never replaced the fan in the main upstairs bath - in fact, I think it might have been original to the house (early 1980's). Very retro. But also, very loud and not very effective. I just figured that no matter what kind of fan you had, it would help circulate air but it couldn't really minimize the steam lingering in the bathroom. BOY WAS I WRONG. This sucker is so much stronger! If I take a warm shower, it can literally move the air well enough and fast enough that there is little to no condensation on the mirror. With a hot shower there will be fog on the mirror but little to no visible steam in the room. And it is SO FLIPPING QUIET. I can't get over how much more powerful it is than the old fan while still being nearly silent! My brother installed it for me and said it was pretty easy. And I love that it's got a humidistat on it so I don't have to think about turning it on (or remembering to turn it off). It just works when it needs to, and shuts off when it doesn't. It's fabulous! FYI, the bathroom it is in is on the smaller side - probably 6' x 9' - and it works incredibly well in that space. I'm not sure it would be strong enough for a larger bathroom though.Only one thing I want to mention because it took me by surprise: there is a blue light in the fan (an indicator light so you know it's powered maybe?) and at night, when all the lights are out, it's brighter than you might imagine. I don't mind it because it kind of operates like a defacto night light in the bathroom (and one that doesn't take up a wall outlet). But in the family, we joke that it kind of feels like you are about to be sucked up by a UFO when you sit on the toilet at night. (The fan is directly overhead).Overall, this is an excellent fan that works so well and with so little noise you will be shocked. I wish I'd bought it years ago!

So quiet, it's wonderful.
I try to do quite a bit of research before buying things like this, and I definitely got this one right. Exhaust fan is strong enough for the laundry room area, small enough to fit the space between the light and the joist. But the big bonus, this is so quiet the electrician thought it wasn't running when he first turned it on.

Quiet and very well made
This thing is very quiet and the light is very bright. This would be ideal for a bathroom with insufficient lighting as it provides enough lighting for a small room. I replaced an existing fan and didn't even have to go to the attic to do it. The construction is of very high quality. Even the cover is much better than the original as the springs are held into the platic fixture in a manner that will not likely break (which the old ones tend to do). I loved their installation video (though my installation was not quite as smooth as shown). I had to drill two holes in the side of the metal box to avoid going into the attic.

Worked great, until it didn't
I installed this fan about a year ago for a guest room's bath. Didn't have to use it much but install was fairly easy and the thing is whisper-quiet.Now we have someone staying there using the bathroom every day. Within 2 months the fan started making an ungodly rattling sound. It runs smooth when not inside of the housing but, when removed, I found cracked fan blades. I can't say I'd recommend it now.

Great value and replacement
Replaced a Broan 688 with this fan and very much satisfied. Choose this fan for a few reasons, but mainly because it was the same size and didn't have to cut the drywall.Installation:Didn't have attic access, but still went smoothly. Removal of old fan took about half hour and installation took about one hour. It could have been designed a bit better to make installation easier, but it was a similar design to the fan I took out.Noise:It is about half as noisy as my previous fan, so the noise level is as advertised. You hear it running, but not annoyingly loud. I would consider it average noise level. If a near silent fan is important to you then look for a different fan.Air flow:Good air flow and although I can't measure it precisely, did does move much more air than my previous fan. I can feel the air movement and it keeps the mirrors clear when taking a long shower. My air duct was a 4" semi-rigid duct, the previous fan connected to it with a 3" to 4" adapter, I was able to remove the adapter and connect directly to it since this fan's outlet is 4". Keep in mind if you have a 3" duct and using an adapter with this fan then your air flow will be reduced. With a 3" duct you might want to consider there slim model or something else.Value:Price seemed good for what you get. More expensive than my previous fan, but I believe it is worth it.Final thoughts:This is definitely an upgrade over my previous fan and we'll worth the couple hours installing it. I considered just swapping out the fan motor on my previous fan, which would have probably taken $20 and 10 minutes to do, but I am glad I upgraded to this fan. My last fan really didn't have the air flow needed for our master bathroom. It lasted 23 years, just hoping this one will last as well. Recap, I got twice the air flow, half the noise, uses less than half the electricity for a little over twice the price.

Good stuff
Super easy to install if your house has flexible tubing. If not, order that too and you're good. Can't hear it outside of the washroom (about 7').

Fan motor started to make a noise after a year. Delta is going to warranty it.
Fan is a year old and starting to make a rattling noise. After a months delay from Amazon to provide the proper warranty contact information, Delta is going to warranty it. Good on Delta, not so good for Amazon's delay.

Quiet fan
This fan is not the quietest out there, but for the price it's very good, well worth the money paid.

Very Good.
... contrary to another review, I could slide a 4" solid aluminum duct pipe over the plastic adapter after sanding off ribs at the adapter bottom. Perhaps, sanding off those ribs should be included in the installation instructions.
