Nice but already had to replace again. Not charging.

The specifications on the original battery were just a little different but this replacement battery fit perfectly and changed up to 100% within 25 minutes. This replacement battery is absolute garbage. I have purchased two of them, for two different laptops, and they both have the EXACT SAME ISSUE. The laptop, even when plugged in, will suddenly get a 'critical battery' signal from the battery's BMS chip, and then go into hibernation, etc. This happens even when the laptop is PLUGGED IN, and the battery is fully charged. To everyone who wants to understand what I'm talking about: Laptop batteries all have a small circuit inside their housing called the BMS, or battery management system. This is a safety device, and also usually performs functions aiding in the state-of-charge indication to the computer, so the operating system can report this to the user, shut down upon low battery without data loss, etc. Unfortunately, this replacement battery has some sort of defect in it, which falsely reports something to the operating system (Windows, in my case), causing the computer to believe it must shut down to avoid issues due to the battery being critically low / malfunctioning, etc. To the seller: Please contact me if you believe this is a fluke. I do not like leaving negative reviews, but I also don't like getting TWO replacement parts that both have a critical defect like this! I have a business to run as well, and I don't enjoy having to apologize to my clients when the same day a replacement part is put in, they have an issue with it!

Bought this to use with my computer so to plug different items while I am doing my karaoke set. It works great and very well made...it can also be used for charging.

I had been putting off installing a new battery in my laptop because the last time I did this it required a technician and the battery was expensive. Not so in this case. The price is right, it seems to be working well, and it was very easy to install. I can't score the battery life because it has not been installed long enough to give it a test. However, I seem to be getting battery operating time that is about the same as when my old laptop was new.

It was the right battery for my older laptop and works fine. Came 70% charged already too, the next day after ordering it. You can't beat that!

So far so good. Battery life doesn't last too long. But its for my son's laptop for school work. He is okay with an hour battery life when not plugged in.
