FengNiao Bicycle Bell

Careful with this thing, I tried to fit it around my handlebar and it sheared into two under very little stress.

The color does not look the same as in the sales photos. I thought that I was buying a mint or teal green color to match my bike however, the bell that I received was just a solid green. I am disappointed in the looks of it, but, the positive side is that it does its job well; the bell is loud and clear.

This bell does not fit my bike's handlebars (Trek Domane 4.3)The bell worked perfectly well, in isolation from the bike, but was un-mountable on the larger diameter bars of a road bike

Only fits smaller diameter handlebars, doesn't have much of a "ring", and the outer metal ring can easily be dislodged from the plastic body - this happened to me when parking my bike next to another in a bike rack and the handlebar end from the other bike just lightly bumped against the bell. You would be better off spending a little more and getting a better quality bell.

The style is awesome the install is ridiculous.The bell has a very small square lock nut with a small screw- so to install you have to back out the screw all the way; be careful because you have to spread the piece over the handlebars- this caused me to lose the square lock nut and the top cover came off exposing the tiny springs. Yes one fell out leaving me with only two. During the assemble i struggled getting the springs to their pre destined holes and yes I lost another spring so forget it.

Used this on my mountain bike and initially the bell was great but after a crash the bell came apart it no longer works.It appears one or two of the mounting springs are missing. Not recommended for off road use.

Broke during first use. Cheaply made.
