Victor Easy Read Stainless Steel Ruler, Standard/Metric, 12" Long, Blue

I absolutely love this ruler! The markings are super easy to read, which makes measuring quick and accurate—especially when I’m measuring wire for my wire wrapping jewelry. It’s been a huge help in keeping my pieces consistent. The stainless steel construction feels sturdy and durable, and it has just the right amount of weight so it stays in place while I work. I also appreciate how precise it is—it makes even detailed measurements simple. Such a great, reliable tool for any crafter. Definitely a must-have in my jewelry workspace!

Love my Metal 12" Victor ruler with 1/4" circle hole at top to hang from, Blue with white paint to see easily see and cork backing that lays flat on cardstock for measuring. Each fraction of the ruler is easily seen. This is especially important when writing directions for card making or crafting, to enable to give exact measurements.

Very nice quality ruler with cork backing to keep it from sliding around on your desk. Easy to read.

This is a perfect ruler, A sewer or card maker can use

While the other reviews are correct in pointing out that the markings are printed on a label that is attached to the face of the ruler, I disagree with the level of importance this carries. The ruler itself is a very strong piece of steel with a cork back, which is great. The label is not going to put up with extreme (scraping) treatment, as compared to one with etched markings, but it appears as strong and stable as if they were painted on - and just as thin. The labeling is extremely clear and easy to read, and completely accurate. As noted elsewhere it is very nice to have these labels explicitly go down to the smallest division markings for those of us with weaker eyes. I bought two of these and both had the end marks "in" from the end of the steel. much like a typical desk ruler. But the zero and 12" marks are clearly visible. If you need the zero mark to be exactly at the end of the steel I would grind the end down. But I have other "hook" rulers and calipers for such end-accurate measuring - and they came at a substantially higher cost. If you need the hyper making accuracy of, say, an Incra ruler, which is extremely thin, or is the type with the measurement edge chamfered down to a fine edge - thereby putting the etched markings down closer to the material - this PRODUCT is not comparable, and you should by all means buy one of those. Just understand those type of rulers are multiple times the cost of this one. For its price this Victor ruler is quite accurate, easy to use and has a marking edge as thick or better than most typical rulers - with the additional advantage of strong steel and a cork backing.

the ruler is great

Inches and centimeters both going the same direction! Seems like a small thing but, strangely, most rulers I’ve seen have them going in different directions. I’m trying to learn the metric system and having them go the same direction is very helpful. The metal on this is very strong. No wimpy/bendy metal on this one. Readability is good. The color is attractive. I wish I would have found this one long ago.

This ruler is amazing. As I have gotten older it has become harder to read things up close. I bought this one and oh my it is awesome. The numbers are incredibly easy to read, and I love that the measurements start at zero right at the end of the ruler. I can place it down and measure immediately from the edge with no guessing. I absolutely love this thing. Highly recommend.

This is brilliant, great for some one who needs to measure 16 th f inch.

Mooi fijne lineaal

Compré esta regla buscando una que empezara en cero desde el borde, ello para poder realizar mediciones precisas apoyando la base de la regla en un lateral y desde ahí medir; sin embargo la escala no empieza exactamente desde cero, sino 1mm después, y de manera lateral tampoco está a ras del borde, sino como 2mm hacia adentro, lo cual la hace inexacta.
